.. I'd buy the Montreal Expos.
But I don't have that kind of money, so instead I'll have to sit back and watch another agonizing debate on the fate of this once proud team - a team that Major League Baseball has screwed over time and time again.
I'd buy the Expos.. I wouldn't move them.. I'd bring back the issue of building a new down town ballpark and say to all the levels of government "whatever you want us to do in return we'll do it, just help us make a new stadium a reality."
I'd bring back the baby blue uni's and the red, white and blue caps. Retro is in isn't it?
I'd invite Tim Wallach back and make him a coach. He was one of the most underrated third basemen of his time. I'd invite Tim Raines back as well and let him finish his career in Montreal no matter how poor many steps he's lost, then I'd make him a coach to. Andres Galaraga could be a hitting coach as well once he's done... Gary Carter can be brought in to do english broadcasts.
