You are quite right, 'guide. Pecksniff has a history of making grand pronouncements about subject matters of which he appears to know nothing (which, of course, is no bar to him in fashioning his opinions). All of his pronouncements should be taken with a grain of salt.

Heritage Foundation presented an excellent analysis of the intellectual roots of CRT (Ref 1) (note that CRT and CLT both are intellectual offspring of the Frankfurt School's Critical Theory movement). Heritage noted:


"It is at this point that Critical Legal Theory takes over. Its scholars self-consciously acknowledge their debt to Critical Theory and other Marxist movements that came before the Frankfurt School. “Although CLS has been largely contained within the United States, it was influenced to a great extent by European philosophers, such as Karl Marx, Max Weber, Max Horkheimer, Antonio Gramsci, and Michel Foucault,” reads the entry for CLT in the Cornell Law School’s Legal Information Institute."


For those who may be unaware of this trendy theory, Critical Race Theory maintains that American society is irredeemably racist in favor of the white majority and that, therefore, existing institutions must be overthrown and replaced. Straight out application of Marxist ideology.

As Derrick Bell, a founder of CRT, wrote “The whole liberal worldview of private rights and public sovereignty mediated by the rule of law needed to be exploded.” (Ref 2)

America is in deep decline if this ideology becomes dominant. The rot has proceeded far already.
