not all that off topic, but there's a difference between a straight laced librarian being the whore she wishes she could RT when she's at lit and the fuckstain gone wrong who thinks the internet gives him free reign to be a total idiot.

Minding My own business, nibbling a little food, sitting on a short wall as all the tables near by were taken. but then it also gives Me a backstop so noone's behind and I can check lit. And up walks this, not at all unattractive young man. Probably a sophomore, maybe a junior 20, 21 what does it matter?
Sits right next to My laptop, which I quickly alt tab. And he says "So, would you like to come to my place?" Like we've been talking for hours and he knows I'm hot for him. I looked at him and I said "I don't think mommy and daddy would approve of you bringing home a woman mommy's age. Not to mention the university frowns on fraternization between faculty and students. And the fact that I just don't go for presumptive slightly rude boys. All that adds up to, you and your hand tonite."

Ah yes, I remember my time in academia. The opportunities abounded back then. In my department alone, there were two couples in the faculty where professors had married their grad students, who later became associate professors themselves. Amazing how that happened...

...I too partook of this benefit, although I was only a grad student and she was a mere student. We played it above-board, though, and as far as I'm aware, neither of us rose to the level of professor.
