The idiots, as referenced in the title of this thread, still think masks are being recommended solely for the protection of the wearer.

How effective is a mask, that only filtered out 15% of .3 um particles, going to be with someone exhaling Particles as small as .12 um?

Or is there some part of this question you don’t understand?

1. Masks don't protect the wearer from ANYTHING.

2. Masks don't prevent spreading what isn't there in the first place.

3. What you have is panacea and you're trying to FORCE OTHERS to feed it to you.

Don't have a congressman (not in USA), and whatever some politician would do with that anyhow? Not what they care about by a long stretch, regardless of affiliation. (At least until someone has present a useful spin of, yes, demonstrable and easily presentable data.)

I do care does the mask work, and aware about the obvious limitations, but not enough to obsess about it.
 
Looks like middle america is starting to get hit hard. Maybe some of those flyover states will get wiped out from this political hoax.:)

Gloating? Not really, just having a laugh at all those who claim it is all a political hoax. That hoax is spreading to those who made fun of big cities suffering from the virus. Corona karma is a bitch. :)
