Your not wearing a mask doesn't threaten my life
If the "Your" is carrying the virus it threatens the "my" life. It certainly does if the "my" isn't wearing a mask.
What is it with you lamebrains?

Your not wearing a mask doesn't threaten my life
I took a taxi the other day, because my car was out.
The driver told me that they're required to wear masks, so he'd been going around all pharmacies, but the ones he found were quite expensive, so he can't afford that many. So he's re-using them.
I, for one don't want to use a taxi where the driver isn't using a surgical mask, even if a taxi is a walking germ closet.
But what about them? Those surgical masks are meant to prevent the driver from spreading germs to the public, they don't protect him from inhaling them.
It seems to me like we are sacrificing essential workers (bus and taxi drivers, warehouse and checkout operators, nurses).
Many of them already died.
If the "Your" is carrying the virus it threatens the "my" life. It certainly does if the "my" isn't wearing a mask.

So don't leave the house. Your safety and your fears are your problem.
Give them liberty or give them death.
Might not be an either or in this instance. At least their liberty to go to Lowes, get their hair cut etc...
So don't leave the house. Your safety and your fears are your problem.
Talk them into submission?
from behind a mask???

Hey, you looked it up for yourself. You should be proud.Testing masks: Here ya go.
How well would some of these protect you? or me?
How does the performance of some of these masks, compare to home made masks?
False sense of security? If you're using some of these fine pirate wannabe N95's, that is not a question. It's a fact.
How about home made masks. Are they better?
It's a 100% legit question.
"Recent tests by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health found that about 60 percent of 67 different types of imported masks tested allowed in more tiny particles in at least one sample than U.S. standards normally permit."
"One mask that Niosh tested, sold in packaging bearing unauthorized Food and Drug Administration logos, filtered out as little as 35 percent of particles. Another, marked KN95, a Chinese standard similar to N95, had one sample test below 15 percent, far short of the 95 percent it advertised, Niosh said. KN95 and N95 both refer to standards that call for masks to block 95 percent of very small particles."

Hey, you looked it up for yourself. You should be proud.
Now you know where to go to learn about the beta ratio of the masks with .125 particulates.

Phrodo, who barely graduated High School throwing out terms
that he's learned on the internet blogs.
How fucking cute it that?

Well, FGB, it appears from some responses on this thread and from the news about protesters affecting more liberal virus control policies in certain states that we will soon face a much bigger wave of infections and death in America.
Batten down the hatches and keep wiping down your steering wheel.
Once again, I'm glad we were finally able to agree on something.
Still don't know that genius.
The tests they did, are the standard NIOSH respirator test, which is for .3 um particles, not .125 um particles.
Be stupid..... feel safe.
Just go where your pushed.
So tell us.....how many people will go out in public, wearing some half-assed inefficient mask, thinking they are invincible, and catch the virus?
Think that’s not possible?
But... but..., I was wearing A MASK!!!!!!
Hey, since you're so passionate about the subject, why don't lift that fat lazy ass and get something done yourself? If teenager can build fusion reactor in the bedroom, why couldn't you device a test of a couple masks yourself? In current climate could be instant YouTube hit. Seriously. Or maybe local university has downtime in their labs, lockdown and so. Sure you can't just walk in, but with the obsession you're displaying you may get someone interested. Well, if only your attitude wasn't that offputting.
