Idiots!

Won’t much matter if he chases off all his customers, now will it?

No money.....no business.

Do me a favor.....think a little bit.

far more people are willing to unselfishly wear masks than not.

Fine. Let them. I’m not saying not to.
But do not, force me, or anyone else, to wear one, the moment we walk out our front door.
That has nothing to do with being selfish, but everything to do with stupid, and controling.

And if those customers are OK with his ‘call me’ policy.....fine. Let them do business with him.
But you should not admonish those who don’t like it, and don’t care to do business that way, and take their business elsewhere, because you disagree.

Actually, what it has everything to do with is whether or not you are going to transmit or receive a virus and, either way, keep it going and not eradicated. And, thereby, it absolutely does have to do with being selfish or not--also dumb or not. Try to use some common sense.

You can’t seem to understand what you read.

You can’t seem to understand what you read.

You can't seem to escape that selfish thing. With luck, karma will set in and you'll meet covid-19 up close and personal--and probably give it to everyone you love, if any such exist.

You can't seem to escape that selfish thing.

No....that is you, among others.

Let me give you another example.....
Target Stores, made a policy a few years ago, that they did not want anyone entering their store, even if they were licensed, to be carrying a firearm, both open carry, or concealed.
OK, it’s their store, and I respect their tight to make that rule. I have not set foot in a Target since, and they should respect my right to not go into their store.

Same goes for a mask.
Costco requires all customers to wear a mask, starting tomorrow. Again, it’s their store, and I respect their right to make that rule. They should also respect the rights of those, who don’t care to wear a mask, and go elsewhere.

It is also an entirely different thing, for the gov’t to require a mask in public, anywhere.
Should I have had one on, and my horse too, last Friday when I was 20 miles from the closest two legged critter in any direction? Blanket edicts are bullshit, and do no one any good.

Selfish my ass.....that’s you.

And if those customers are OK with his ‘call me’ policy.....fine. Let them do business with him.

People like you and HA are the reason why your economy will continue to go down the toilet.

Unless your goal is to ease the economic burden by culling the old and the obese.

I really don’t know where you come up with bullshit statements like that.

Have I said I’m going to run in a store that requires a mask without on?
Not just no, but FUCK NO i didn’t.
That’s your problem. You assume, guess, and flat ass make shit up.

Statements like yours....belong down the toilet.

oh, I thought you were promoting what HA does, ever so smuggly. Sorry.
His clueless derision of science pisses me off.

^^^^Thanks for nothing, trolling fuckwad. As usual, you add nothing to a conversation but an insult. It’s your style. Fact is, it’s all you do, liitle girl.

I fixed your grammar. You're welcome. If you need recommendations for a good junior college and remedial English textbooks, I'd be happy to help. :)

Who is forcing you to shop there?

Who is controlling you? You want me to beat them up? Who's picking on you, huh? Who has taken away your choice of where to shop?

Nobody is, and nobody can, force me to shop anywhere. That choice ismine, and mine alone.
But there are those here, if you haven’t noticed, that seem to think I’m out to spread the virus to everybody, simply because I disgree with a policy.
They also think, I should not ask or want data on the efficiency of different types of masks. Why not? Would be interesting, informative information, would it not?

I'm actually starting to ask myself similar questions.

Over here, they're gradually stocking pharmacies with disposable surgical masks.

But:
-- for now, they're only allowing a limited small number per person.
Even if they wouldn't: the masks are rel. cheap per item, but quite expensive if you consider buying 100 or so per month.
So will people use them correctly, or mere for show re-using them?

-- Those are surgical masks, why are they not distributing respirators (particularly reusable) instead? Can't be That more expensive to manufacture.

I wear a mask, hell, better than the surgeons than split you from stem to stern. I also carry a gun. The first I do because I choose to, the second because I can. Both are for the protection of myself and others.

I really don't care if others choose not to wear a mask or carry a gun, that's their choice. Their choices don't infringe on my rights and mine don't infringe on theirs. Your not wearing a mask doesn't threaten my life and my carrying a gun doesn't threaten yours. Live and let live.

The OP is right about what's happening at the big box stores. It's a fucking zoo and mask or not you're walking into a virus factory. The social distancing edicts are a joke.

In all likelihood you've been exposed to the Wuhan Flu and eventually it will be a certainty. Taking precautions is prudent, but no guarantee. Like death itself it's only a matter of time. You'll either have no frank symptoms, get mildly sick, or get seriously sick. Which it is will depend on your genetics and/or your current physical condition.

Viruses are, and always have been, natures way of culling the herd. We're always playing defense after the fact with viral infections of any nature. There might be an effective vaccine and/or treatment eventually but how long are you willing to put your life on hold until that day arrives? And when the next one, and there will be a next one, arrives?

I've had more than one person say to me, "I don't want to give it to a loved one." Who the hell does? But the fact is that you can't give what you don't have so all they're saying is, "I don't want to catch the Wuhan Flu." It all comes down to being all about you doesn't it? All else is bullshit.

The bare brutal truth is that YOU[/B ]don't want to catch it. And that fear drives you to demand that others conform to whatever rules you can concoct that will make you feel safer. I don't want to catch either (although I think I already had it and was one of those that had minor symptoms). But I don't demand that you conform to my notions of "proper" behavior so that I might enjoy some false sense of safety. I cover my own ass, you might try doing the same.

And I damn sure don't think that any mayor, governor, or president has any more right to demand how others should behave than I do. They all have their own agenda.
