Oliver North said last night there may be as many as 15,000-40,000 American citizens in Afghanistan. If that is true there is little chance of getting them out by the deadline. I think the 10,000 figure could have been pushed out to lower the expectations of the nation and conceal the true number of American hostages the Taliban will have in the future to prevent any kind of American retaliation. It is also reported the Afghan Army turned over our Biometric data base to the Taliban which identifies all Afghans who helped or were employed by us in the last 20 years.
