IDEAS,,, need some ideas,,, PLEASE?

Okay,,, anyone that has receipes that they want to share,,, please feel free,,, my mailbox is always open and I am receptive to new ideas. Hell I'm receptive to old ideas that I may not have tried for awhile.

I know that I am potentally setting myself up here,,, so be nice,,, please,,, do NOT copy every receipe that you can find and mail them to me.

Something that you are fond of though, that's a different story,,, by all means pass it along.

CW, what are the final dinner plans hungry inquiring toads wants to know?

Dinner will be served at 5pm,,, casual dress, bring a bottle of wine if you desire,,,the cook (me) will gladly accept hugs and kisses as tips,,, there will be 22 folks attending, 8 family ( more backed out than are attending ), 14 friends and neighbors. Plus about 12 more folks are stopping by 'afterwards' for deserts and wine

Featured on the buffet will be:

individual bowls of french onion soup resting in the oven,
lasagna, both meatless and meated,
peeler shrimp, seasoned with old bay and beer,
spinach salad with fresh fruit, nuts and cheese,
hot breads, assorted crackers
carrot raisin salad with pineapple,
green pea salad with water chestnuts and walnuts,
cheese balls (3 varities) as well as a crab cheese ball,

That's as far as I have gotten,,, still have to decide upon deserts,,, those will be cookies and possibly a double layer cake,,,
