I have a very big problem. For at least two years I've been trying to write a complete story! But I can't write them! It's not because I don't know how to type on the computer. It's just I can't write good or any type of dialogue! And I suck at writing character or story development. The only thing I have are visions And images in my mind of what I want. I'm not asking you to write my stories for me. But is there someone kind enough to help me flesh out the concepts and break down the ideas so I know what works. Or another idea! I'm not forcing you! Would someone like to collaborate ideas with me and make a story together?

I imagine that several people on here will be willing to help. Perhaps it would be of assistance if you outlined some of the basic details of the types of stories you're looking to write. For example, what would be the sexual orientation? Are there any fetishes which would apply in these stories?

If, for example, you're interested in BDSM then other BDSM enthusiasts may be interested in helping.

You know how when your nervous about what you need to say to someone and you sit there running through just what to say in your head? Maybe you were even doing it out loud in the car on the way there.

That's your dialog coach. That's where and how you work out dialog for a story, not on the paper. Sit back take your hands off the keys or put down the pen. Now just try and think your way though what would this person would say to that person, if they were having that conversation.

Now story ideas, (insert shameless self plug) try reading this 'How to' I did a while back that way I don't have to say the same things twice.

Characters are easy. Look at the people you know the ones you know real well, your family, friends ,ex-lovers, current lovers. Okay now take any two of them, their way of speaking, mannerisms, what they wear, all of it and combine any two of them together. Pick up you phone book (The yellow paper one) turn to a page at random pick out a first name, do it again for the last name. YOU now have a character that even if they were to read they might not recognize but that you can remember and recall dozens of things about easily.

Story development? you get two good characters together with a more than half decent plot line and the story can all but write itself. Start them as a short one pager and before you know it you will be just rolling along and look down and your at 27 thousand words and cant see the end in sight.

I'm not sure what you mean by "complete story". Maybe you should just stick to short stories where major plots and character development can be limited. When I read porn I don't really want to read a novel. I get very bored after the first couple of pages. It turns me off when it gets too detailed and I don't read porn to get turned off.

Here's one concept I have. I envision a young man who Who lives in a small boring town with his mom. The boy just turned 18 years old But is treated like a child from his overprotective and religious mother. Let's just get one thing straight The boy and his mother do not have an incest relationship of any kind!!! The think you have to understand is that The boy was brainwashed by his mother to think that all women are whores. Think of the mother from the Stephen King book called Carrie. Except the boy even though he is brainwashed and a virgin Doesn't mean he's ugly! He's quite good looking! He doesn't look like a weightlifter. His body type and look is a cross between Justin Bieber and Jacob from twilight. The point of the concept is that since the boy turns 18 he begins to define his mother's orders and begins to pursue and fulfill his sexual desires with beautiful young women. And to top that the dude also realizes the power and gushing talent of his penis

PM me if interested. AsylumSeeker. I teach for a living. Also write and edit here.

Well you need to study, and learn about story writing. I lot more will come with experience as you get older.

Lets be clear about something that seems to be a big effing mystery: Every person in the world knows how to nail a story together, because we're all raised on stories, fables, myths, etc.

1.Problem pops up
2.Problem comes to a boil
3.Problem solved

If you have those 3 elements, you have a story.

I think that the only way forward for you is to keep writing, and post what you have written. Practice will help you improve.

There are many useful (and some useless) pieces of advice in the How-To stories on Literotica. Try reading some of them and see if any of them help, if only to show what NOT to do.

This one of mine: http://www.literotica.com/s/how-to-plot-flash-fiction

is intended for those writing 50-word stories or flash fiction, but the basics of plotting are simple - a beginning, a development, a conclusion; or another way - an introduction, a problem, the solution.

Lots of good ideas here to help you...

One thing I have found helps tremendously when you have a "big" storyline that will take a while is to outline everything in your thoughts. That not only helps you keep track of the order of things, but gives you a good framework on how to break up the story and how it will flow. It also helps if you take a break from the story when you come back you know where you were going...
