This is for those of you who have seen the newly released horror flick Paranormal Activity 2. I don't want to ruin the film for those who haven't seen it yet so I won't say too much. Just let's
say that the scene with the oujia board planted the seed of an idea in my head. A couple with two teen kids moves into a new house and strange but not necessarily scary things start happening. Out of boredom and curiosity, the husband and wife decide to try and ask the potential spirit what it wants via the board, only to have it spell out that it wants ''pussy''. I see a situation where the resident spirit/ghost/demon demands sex from the wife in order to let the family live in peace. Where do you think I could go with this?

Sounds like a set-up for a sequel to Rosemary's Baby

I just looked up that film and relised that it does have a plotline that is quite similar to my own plot. But I think I'll forego the stuff about the baby being the ''Anti-Christ'' because that's been done to death. The entity that I have in mind is somewhat more ambivalent, being neither completely evil nor completely good. If given what it wants, it can even be benevolent towards its ''tenants''. It's an ancient fertility spirit which simply sees itself as the rightful owner of the house and in return for allowing the family to stay, demands the exclusive use of the wife's pussy.

Was there really such a scene? I can't seem to recall there ever being one in the film which was that sexually explicit.

It wasn't explicit at all, it was implied. In a dream, Ray (Aykroyd) sees a beautiful female ghost floating over him when he's in bed. She floats down so that her head is in line with his crotch, then she turns invisible. Ray's pants unzip via invisible forces. Cut to Ray's face where you see him going crosseyed in a humorously exaggerated look of ecstasy. Then, in real life, Ray is shown falling out of bed.

The implication was that a beautiful ghost gave him a blow job.

I see. I might go for a similar angle with this story. It would probably gratify the readers if the entity in my story were to assume material form but I'm sure I can find a plausible enough supernatural factor that would enable this to occur.

How's this for a storyline?

60 or so years ago, a guy was head-over-heels in unrequited love with a beautiful woman. But she had a boyfriend already and he eventually realized that she would never love him back, so he commits suicide. Fast forward to the present day and the grand-daughter of the aforementioned woman moves her family in to the old family home, the same house where the man killed himself and where his tormented ghost still resides.

The woman is a spitting image of her grandmother, so much so that the ghost believes them to be one and the same. After decades of tormenting himself with sadness of never being with the woman he loved, the ghost is desperate to be with her lookalike grandchild. While also plaguing the family with other ghost tricks (slamming doors, bumps in the night, etc.) the ghost feels up the woman in bed, and in the shower... anywhere he has the opportunity. He progresses through this routine so gradually, that the woman doesn't think too much of it, but over time, finds herself becoming increasingly aroused several times a day.

Eventually, all the hauntings lead the family to a ouija scene like you mentioned earlier. Afterwards, when the woman is alone in her bedroom, the ghost has sex with her for the first time. As he has sex with her more and more often, they begin to form a bond of sorts and the woman begins having increasingly vivid dreams/daydreams of herself dressed in 50s' fashion, exchanging passing glances with a shy, but cute, young man - the ghost as he was in life. Then, in one daydream, she takes the plunge, seduces the man and has sex with him. This becomes their new life together, he fucks her while she's awake and she fucks him in her dreams.

I like some of the suggestion you mentioned, especially the ones about the spirit gradually seducing the wife. However, instead of depicting the spirit in question as a restless ghost, I want to do something a little different and make it this ancient and powerful being that was formerly something of an ancient deity. While having sex with it, the wife could catch glimpses of its true visage and herself as this ancient priestess dressed in bizzare and revealing costumes. Ultimately, the husband and wife have to understand that the entity will see to it that her and her family will prosper as long as it is permitted to have her as its lover.

Being a mythology buff (you'd never have guessed, would you? ;)), I really like the ancient deity idea. I think something that could really add some excitement to such a storyline would be exploring the mystery of what happened to the deity's original cult.

Now that you mention it, I see a lot of potential to develop a rich narrative regarding the question of what befell the original cult. The way I see it, the cult had to go udnerground because of religious repression but survived in a clandestine fashion among the descendents of the deity's original devotees. Some of the long-time residents would probably be worshippers of the deity.

Given that you're a mythology buff, what type of attributes do you think the deity should have? The first thing that comes to my mid is the Greek god Pan but I'd also like to explore the traits of other gods who also have strong sexual connotations.

If you want sexual connotations, then you're bound to have fun with mythology.

Zeus was a renowned ladies man. Married to Hera but took many lovers both godly and mortal. Hercules was the product of one such night with a mortal woman.

Kronos would be a good blueprint if you're interested in making a horror story. He used to have sex with his wife and if she fell pregnant, he would devour the baby as soon as it was born to prevent it usurping him.

I can't think of any particularly sexual stories surrounding Hades, but I do know that he had a magic helmet that could make him invisible. One could see how that could be an asset to a supernatural stalker.

There are countless stories of Aphrodite's sexual exploits. One involves her in a battle of wills between her and Persephone, to decide who the human Adonis would stay with. Aphrodite wanted him to stay with her and be her lover. But Persephone wanted him to stay with her as she was his foster mother. You might be able too reverse the genders of this storyline and tweak it a bit.

I forget the name, but there was a god or demi-god who took a beautiful mortal woman as his lover. He somehow ordered her to journey to a dark cave where he could make love to her without being seen. He had wings that made him very distinctive, so he could not afford to be seen by the woman, for she would know immediately who he was. Actually, I wonder if it was cupid?

Geb and Nut, the god of the earth and the goddess of the sky, used to go at it like rabbits. But Ra, the king of the gods did not like the earth and the sky being constantly pressed against each other, for it left no room for life to grow. So he ordered Shu, the god of air to hold Geb down beneath his feet and hold Nut up high in his hands, so that the two lovers could never reach each other again. Though they strained forever to touch hands once more. He also placed a curse on Nut, who had fallen pregnant, so that she could never give birth to Geb's children. (However, another god, Thoth, later found a loophole in this curse and helped Nut give birth).

Osiris, after being killed by his younger brother, was resurrected by his wife (and his brother's wife) for only one night so that they could concieve an heir together. It was also said in an earlier daliance that Osiris slept with the barren Nephythys and gave her a son. This was symbolic of his role as the god of agriculture as he, through the waters & flood deposits of the nile, bought rich life to the barren dessert nation of Egypt.

Ramses II used to claim that on the night he was concieved, the god Amon took posession of his father's body and had sex with his mother. Thus, Ramses II was able to claim that he was the walking son of a god.

These are just a few examples that come to mind. There are surely countless more.

Thanks for the examples! I think can develop a fairly subtantial storyline based on the mythological traditions that you've listed so far. The main archetype for the deity in question will be Zeus since he embodies the type of randy and insatiable divinity that I have in mind. Ultimately, like Zeus, the deity seeks to impregnate the mom with a half-divine son. I also like the theme of a personal rivalry and the deity in question could find itself fending off a sinister supernatural rival who also seeks to have the mom as its exclusive lover. To further elaborate on the nature of the deity itself, I see it as a shapeshifter who also has the power to become invisible as you suggested.

By the way, given your experience in working on stories with a magical or supernatural theme, how do you think that a typical married couple would react when faced with the sexual demands of a powerful spirit? The deity offers and will deliver on promises of riches if the wife becomes his servile concubine/devotee but will also be willing to terrify them with the most spooky stuff imaginable if the family refuses to accept his proposition.

In a typical married couple, I don't think you'd see universal consent. The husband might consent, either for the riches or just to save his own skin, but I highly doubt the wife would be open to the idea. If she has the husband on side, they might try to flee the entity or fight it, if that doesn't work (get a priest to perform an exorcism of the house, etc.). She might still try to fight the entity if she is alone, but it would be harder for her if the husband was collaborating with the entity. In that situation, you might wind up with a scene like at the end of "Return of the Jedi", where the helpless Luke pleads with Darth Vader to save him from his evil master.

Otherwise she/they will probably just agree to the entity's terms, but she/they will be miserable throughout the ordeal. At least for a while. Then, perhaps, stockholm syndrome might set in.

As you suggested, I see the husband becoming a collaborator almost from the outset. Although a gentle and caring men, he has somewhat of a timid disposition and fears for the safety of his children and wife should he refuse the being's offer. It also dosen't hurt that the entity has promised to make his family wealthy. With regard to the wife, would it be plausible if the spirit managed to dispel her resistance by providing an invaluable service where her children are concerned? Her teenage son suffers from a chronic illness which the entity has the ability to cure. It promises to do so....on the condition that the wife becomes its utterly devoted lover and slave.

Plausable, yes, but it wouldn't make the entity any more endearing than if it simply forced itself upon her with its magic. After all, it's essentially holding her child as hostage, even if it wasn't the one who placed the child in peril to begin with.

Though it would probably make the mother much more likable to the reader. She becomes a brave fighter, enduring whatever unpleasant ordeal is nessesary to save her beloved child.

A thought that just occurred to me - what if the story kind of followed the basic plot of Rumplestiltskin? Perhaps the woman's mother/father lived in the house many years ago and the entity did them some immense favor, on condition that they give him their first born child. Years later, the parent coerces their adult daughter (who now has a family of her own) in to moving in with the entity, so as to fulfil the bargain they made.

Hmm, you're probably right. In that case, I'll revert back to the original storyline with the entity simply promising riches on one hand and on the other, threatening the children if the couple does not cooperate. And yes, I want to cast the mother as a courageous woman who will do absolutely anything to save her children, even if this entails sacrificing her wifely virture. However, as I've mentioned before, this being will modelled on the same lines as Zeus which means that he is not entirely without erotic appeal as far as women are concerned. Although she submits to the entity's initial advances reluctantly, she soon realises that sex with this ancient being brings her such immense pleasure that she could never go back to having sex with her husband or any other mere mortal for that matter. This is exactly what the entity intends since it is a rather possessive creature.

Your suggestion about a Rumplestilskin-esque pact is brilliant. However, I noticed that you used the word ''coerced''. Does this means that her parents used blackmail rather than gentle persuasion to get her to move back to her former family home?

Well, you know how parents can be... even to their adult children. Most of them have special ways of making their kids do what they want without truly resorting to blackmail or threats. I can imagine that the woman's parent would be able to manipulate their daughter in to moving in to the house with a constant barrage of persuasive remarks. That's assuming that the daughter isn't open to the idea of moving in to the house, in the first place, of course.

But remember, the parent would be absolutely determined to get their daughter to move in to that house. After all, the last thing they want is some divine debt collectors pounding on their front door. I imagine at first they would simply try to persuade the daughter as nonchalantly as possible, so that she doesn't know what's in store for her in the new home. But as the deadline for the debt draws closer, the parent would become increasingly desperate.

Ultimately, however, how the parent gets the daughter to move in to the house is up to you. It's your story. :)

In light of the current recession, I think I'll get the parents to persaude their daughter to buy the old family home on the pretext that they can't repay the mortgage on it, just to give my story a contemporary feel.
By the way, in the course of the narrative, should I try to emphasize the increasing devotion of the couple to the deity by making the religious appeal more pronounced? I'm thinking of having the family home become the headquarters of the cult as its surviving members hearken to await the coming of a new demi-god/hero who will spring from the womb of the deity's chosen bride/priestess. The couple's existing children might be groomed as potential leaders in the hierarchy of the priesthood while the husband takes a vow of chastity since he understands that in return for riches as well as the health/success of his children, he cannot lay claim to intimacy with his wife any longer since she like all women in the cult, now belongs to the god.

Also, I'm also thinking of having the deity make his sexual advances to the mother in various semi-human/monstrous guises which allude to the various aspects of his nature but would that run afoul of Lit's anti-bestiality ruling?

Never gone near Lit's bestiality rules, so i don't know much about them. I think semi-human should be fine, though. I'm sure there are countless werewolf stories on here.

This is starting to sound more and more like Rosemary's Baby ;), not that that's a bad thing. To be honest, I think if you emphasize the religion too much, it will detract from the sexuality of the story. When you first started discussing this, the entity's motivation seemed to be raw horniness. Now it's starting to sound like it just wants to bring about a new age for it's cult by spawning a child. The sex just seems like a means to an end in this case, which makes the sex aspect of the story seem less compelling.

Hmm, excellent point. I'll do as you suggest and depict the entity as a sex starved creature that simply wants some house-wife pussy. Any suggestions as to what kinky orders the deity could give the mother and and her hubby? They'd really be appreciated. I'm trying to think of specific ideas which combine dominance with sex. The very act of sex itself must emphasize to the mother that she is the utter but willing, sex slave of the entity while the deity takes a somewhat malicious pleasure in humiliating her husband and reminding him of that fact that he is a whimpy cuckold who can never satisfy his wife the way that it can.

Well the ultimate way of emphasizing that the woman is the supernatural entity's slave would be for him to take control of her body. He could make her masturbate beyond orgasm - she feels the pleasure, but he still has ultimate control over her hands and could make them keep screwing her well past the point where an ordinary woman just wouldn't be able to keep going. He could also have her do things far more adventurous than she would have ever done, herself, such as fingering her own ass.

Another thing he could do is just give her body spontaneous orgasms, even at inappropriate times like at dinner parties, or when she's at the mall. I had a genie-master story once where the master discovered that the defiant genie's body automatically obeyed any order he gave her, whether she wanted to or not. After a romance had developed between them, the master said the word "come", as an order, several times and the genie automatically had a quivvering orgasm every time.

Another idea: you know those fountains that are statues of guys/boys peeing in to the main bowl of the fountain? Perhaps there is some statue-fountain of this deity in the house's backyard and one day, for some reason, the woman finds herself terribly parched, like she feels like she's about to die from thirst. But none of the faucets work and all the drink bottles in the fridge are mysteriously empty. The only source of liquid she can see is the flowing fountain in the back yard. So in order to quench her thirst, she is forced to suck on the deity's cock.

Perhaps the inside handle of the house's front door is unusually phallic in shape, and the deity curses the front door so that it won't open for her unless she fucks it. Thus, she is trapped in the house and can't go out to do her errands unless she submits to this rule.

An oldy, but a goody: The furniture comes alive and restrains her while he does his thing.

Another thing you could do is have there be a period where the entity simply leaves her alone. The woman wonders why this is and begins to feel rejected and increasingly horny for his attentions. So she comes up with various ways to please him; erotic clothing, sensual dancing in the living room, etc. The whole exercise is just a lesson on the part of the entity, to teach the woman how much she needs him to use her in order to be happy, herself.

All of them are excellent suggestions, especially the part about the entity forcing her to suck the penis of the pagan idol and her realisation that she cannot be happy in his absence. The sensual dances will also be included and will feature her trying out her belly-dancing moves in the hope fo winning the attention of her new master. At home, she will also wear various costumes that do little more than barely cover her crotch in line with the deity's demands.

As for her husband, do you think he should play an active role in aiding the deity's efforts? I see him becoming an eager participant after he realises that he enjoys seeing his wife being sexually appropriated by this deity. Also, this is his only way of getting sexual release since the entity has seen to it that he will never develop an erection if he tries to get intimate with his wife. The only way he can ever get off so to speak, is when he sees his wife being pleasured by their new master.

To be honest, I don't quite know what to do about the husband. Perhaps he could be the entity's voice box? Whenever it has a command for the woman to obey, it is spoken through the husband's mouth (but with some otherworldly voice).

I suppose you could have him assisting the entity, perhaps by tying/chaining the wife to the bed and then slinking away so that his master can be with her... while he watches and jerks off. I don't know if you want to have the entity rewarding him, from time to time, by letting him take the wife anally, or if you want to keep the wife completely pure for the entity. Maybe the entity could reward/appease the husband's urges by somehow luring in other unsuspecting women for the husband to have one night stands with?

Hey! How about this for an idea: You could write the story as if you were the husband. The story itself could be written like it was a gospel for the new cult - recounting the events surrounding the reappearance of the deity, all written by the husband (you) who witnessed it all. That could be his way of serving the entity, as the spreader of the word.

It could give the husband character the chance to express his own arousal directly, by explaining how well the entity screwed his wife and sharing how exciting it was to watch her come loudly every time.
