I'd like to propose a toast...

Patient1, thank you for starting this thread. It's heartening to read these toasts, to see that we really do touch each other's lives. It's like a celebratory snippet of Problem Child's 5 Things About ___ thread. :)

I raise my glass to EBW, a charming, brash, young know-it-all who really knows he doesn't. May you enjoy a lifetime of debating how to wear red for a Valentine's evening spent with your wife.

I'd like to propose a toast to two very special ladies among a board full of special ladies.

Cym and Debbiexxx... two distinctly different yet hauntingly similar women. Both ladies hold my non specific IOU. they have helped me out when I needed it most. Without them I would be in a very different state of mind now.

They are always there with a smile and a quick word of encouragement. A helping hand no matter what thier own situation.

To Deb and Cym... two of the very best.:rose:  :rose:

Thank you, Mischka, for reminding me to give credit where credit is due. Yes, this thread was inspired by Problem Child's 5 Things
About _____ thread. I thought that the board needed more like it as an alternative in times of flame, for those that would prefer
praising their friends to flaming the critics of their friends. Especially since the idea of displacing negative threads with older ones didn't go over so well.
I also had mentioned to a couple of members that I'd probably be home alone on Valentine's Day too, but if I were I'd come here and drink a toast to them.

I'd like to propose a toast...

To Mischka , whose dry wit and reasoned responses are always worth the read. Her cell phone/driver distraction thread may save a life, and her collaberation with Lavvy made Never's reality a Now.

May she, like Lavvy, change people's minds about the people in the legal profession.:rose:

*Sniff* Thank you kiwiwolf. Now about that I.O.U? :D

A toast to patient1 for this thread and another for Laurel, Manu and so many other great people at Lit. *cheers*

To DebbieXXX

Living proof that dissapointing parents & a failed first marriage
don't mean you have to be bitter, even when everyone else blames you, but you can find love, happiness, and show kindness to others...

May she continue to get her revenge by living well.

You are the observant and thoughtful one:)

I'd like to propose a toast ...

To Wiggles -

Who had a cute sketch av, a lusty bathing beauty av, & the cutest Valentine's Day av of anyone, & now the sunbather again,
she's fun & she's sexy all the time. :) So is the reason for her nickname.

May she remain happy because she shares it with others :rose:

I'd like to propose a toast

To Tim1-

A guy with a great self-depricating wit, who has opinions, but doesn't take offense. He takes jokes well, too. I wished I'd known him when I was in sales. I really miss having him around as much as he was in December, seemed like we were on at the same times & in the same threads.:(

May he make people smile wherever he goes:) :rose:

To all of my friends here.
May your tomorrows always be better then yesterday, and if not, that you always have enough wine to drown your sorrows.

To BlackPhoenix-

I don't know you, but it's an honor to have your first& only post on this thread of mine. Welcome to Literotica! May you enjoy your stay:rose:

ROTFL!! And all this time I thought it was "well, if I THINK the oven is off...."

:D :D :D Thankyou for stopping by.

Here's to Monster & everyone else who enjoys my sense of humor:rose:

I'd like to propose the last toast of the night...

Marshmallows over glowing embers;)

Wish you were camping, don't you?

It's 4am, & I'm too sleepy & I've had too much to drink to do anyone justice with another toast.

Thank you Nessus, for your constant encouragement, I might have wondered it I were only selfishly sustaining my own thread & let it drop, if it weren't for you. I respect your taste, manners, sense of humor, & recognize another romantic when I see one.

until next session....

No, my friend, make no mistake. What you have done here is sweet and wonderful:) You are an observer, you see all and make statements:) It is good, I admire your view:)

Sleep well

Here Here!
To you, my dear friend, while you may come in many forms, to me, you will always be Fuzzy. BlackPhoenix, you are a true gem of friendship, and I will always value your council. (And I will never let you forget that you are a good person.)

*starts blushing* and to you Puppy, a great friend, even if she hates having her fur ruffled*:D

And Patient1 you have seen me around before. the name was Nighthunter.

A toast to Patient 1. May you continue to be the kindly soul you are. The world is a better place with people like you.

:)

Agree:)

Thank you all for stopping by, I was afraid LadyDarkFire wouldn't return to read up on this thread.

DebbieXXX, didn't know if you'd make it either. You must live on the South Island, don't you?

Thank you, BlackPhoenix. The guy with the great hair & the claymoor, sure.

I really should be doing something else in Real Life
right now, but I'd really like to continue these toasts. Perhaps someone else could propose a toast to someone, or everyone,
as they see fit , in the meantime.

To Tyrael!

Someone who, like Nessus, comes here to share their passion for
art with an appreciative audience, not to stir things up. I'm glad he gives us the opportunity.

May he find Literoticaville a happy home.:rose:

To Weird Harold!

If Literotica really were a village, he'd probably be the Mayor.
He helped me to get an av. He 's always answering questions & helping Newbies and Permanent Fixtures alike. He works behind the scenes with new story submissions. I don't know how he finds the time to enjoy the place with all of the hours of service he donates to it.

May we never forget to thank him.:rose:

Thank you Patient1. I nearly didn't return, but when I did, I was truely touched. You are a wonderful and caring spirit. Again, my thanks.

To daughter-

Whose exemplary style of shepparding a thread is an inspiration. She doesn't just post a provocative question& run, she interracts with each poster, asking intelligent follow up questions, because when she asks for everyone's opinion, she wants to hear what everyone has to say.
She also has a very sensual writing style, I can still smell the lemons in the bowl on her kitchen table...

No matter how succsessful she is in Real Life, may she always stop by to visit her "Literotica family":rose:

*picks up her glass and clears her throat*

*mind goes completly blank*

I'm no good at taking compliments.. and I'm even worse and making a toast..

To Everyone on the board.. if I've fought with you.. laughed at you.. rolled my eyes at you..cried with you.. laughed with you.. given or recieved hugs.. I toast you!

I wish you all the best..

and thank you for the words to me in this thread..

it's nice to know you are liked :D

You're most welcome , freaky. I always enjoy your rolling eyes.
You type circles around me. You beat me to the punch often.

There, everyone. See wasn't that a nice toast? She was very inclusive. You can do it here, too.

To Black Bird,
If the only thing he ever did here was to start a couple of classic threads on matters of friendship, he would be a valuable member of this community, not to mention his other threads & numerous thoughtful posts .

May he continue the good work:rose:
