I'd like some feedback on my first story

I will be very grateful for feedback from more experienced authors on the story I recently posted. It's done reasonably well (all seven chapters have the red H icon as I write, though one of them---the one I knew was weak---vacillates between 4.49 and 4.50), but I'd like to know what other authors think about it.

I'm currently working on the second book, and I will definitely take constructive criticism into account as I write.
