How do you drink yours?

I have to have freshly brewed iced tea, and it has to be plain. No sugar, sweetener, or lemon.

Occasionally I'll have a flavored tea iced, like mint or chai, but I can't stand that nasty stuff out of the fountain. I also hate instant tea and the canned junk.

I know which restaurants in my area serve brewed iced tea, and I have them all rated according to tea-quality in my head.

No lemon, no sugar.

I can't stand instant tea. Blech!!!
I don't care for the flavored teas.

I did have a glass of water with a thin slice of cucumber in it recently at this great little cafe. It was absolutely refreshing! I'll be drinking it at home. :)

Ugh. Remind me not to drink tea at your house. :p

When I was visiting Kentucky, I had to remember not to order tea lest I get a big gulp of sweetened nastiness. *gag* There's nothing as awful expecting refreshing brewed iced tea and getting a mouth full of grainy sugar crystals.

I was leary at first. But it was delicate a flavor. Really, it was very refreshing.

I think the key to it not being overbearing was the slice. It was so thin a slice, you could see thru it.

Oh that is the worst! Blech!!

My mom has gotten into a kick of putting sugar in her tea. She says she just needs some sweetness. Well, I took a big drink and about gagged!

I'm like you, I know exactly where to get good tea.
Wendy's has the best fast food tea. Its pretty good no matter where you go in the US.

Agreed. Blech.

One of my friends makes that pre-sweetened, lemon flavored, instant stuff. I personally don't think they should be allowed to call it tea. I've forgotten that she likes it before and accepted a glass....nearly spewed it all over her carpet. Ugh.

Kitty, if I visit you, I'll make the tea mkay? :p

That's pretty much my ratio of tea to sugar, as well.

The teachers at my old school complained about my tea. They put 2 to 2 1/2 cups sugar in a gallon of tea.

No lemon for me, I'll take freshly squozen (?) lime juice in my tea, along with sugar. Sweet lime tea is great.

Drinking fresh iced tea as I type even.

the lime is great in iced tea. must be a Central American thing.

Right now, it's just straight up sugared tea though.
