IC Cheated

Bumping into a bumbling Jeff, tilting his head as he stumbled back, David just stood there as the drunken Jeff had slammed into him and stumbled back off balance…

Tilting his head he wondered how and why he would have the nerve to come by this way, Dave’s fists clenched tightly as he looked towards Jeff…

“Don’t make me do something I regret Jeff…” as he pulled out a piece of paper…

Further confused he stood upright, curious as Steph was about this strange piece of paper…

Stephanie:

I shivered when I saw the two men facing off. What the hell was I supposed to do now? I didn't want either of them hurt, but then if David went after Jeff and I tried to stop him, he'd think I loved Jeff. But if I didn't stop him, then Jeff would get his ass kicked, and I didn't want that either.

I paused when I saw Jeff unfolding a bit of paper he'd had in his pocket.

What the...? I stepped up beside David, my arms crossed over my stomach, trying to hide the flesh showing through my ripped shirt. "Jeff, what is this about? This probably isn't a good idea..." I said, but stopped when he began to speak.

Jeff:

"Ok, don't talk just listen" I said sternly. "I forgot my manuscript, so I went back to your room Steph." "I found this note stuffed in the mattress, it's Dana's phone number." "David, I know you've mentioned her before and I don't want to judge and accuse you of anything but we all need to be honest with each right now." "I'll go first." I said my voice starting break. "Yes, Stephanie and I slept together tonight, it's tearing me up inside right now but I don't regret it, Maria left me man, she was everything to me, but I know I was out of line to be with Steph, hate me if you want, but please when you cool down considering forgiving me." "It was all my fault, I sedced Stephanie, I brought the wine and made her feel sorry me." I paused looking over David's shoulder to see Stephanie's reaction as I was taking the blame. I hoped she would see I did care for her and was willing to sacrifice my friendship with David to save her relationship with him. She seemed curious and I hoped she would play along, I knew I had to by her some more time so she could think of a response.

"We all need to be honest with each other." "Tonight was the only thing I did anything behind your back to hurt you and I got caught." I said. I saw David starting to look back at Stephanie to see if her face would reveal whether or not I was telling the truth. I reached for his shoulder and turned him back towards me. "David, I know you and Maria probably had a little thing going but I'm over that, I'm willing to move on if you will but I'm begging you now be honest with Stephanie, tell her who Dana is and why this note with her phone number in your handwriting was crammed in her mattress."

He listened and didn’t like what he heard, but he remained cool, never saying anything, nothing at all, just pulling from Steph as her arm wrapped round his…

“Ok, you want the truth this is it, that number is there because it was in my jeans yes, in fact I have been looking for it because Dana is my lab partner, I have to pass class some how, she’s my lab partner…” rolling his eyes he shook his head as he clenched his fist once more, then again shaking his head as he stepped around him and started down the hall…

“This is bullshit, no I cant forgive you, the both of you I cant…” as he calmly walked away-

Stephanie:

"David, wait!" I called. I stopped in front of Jeff and whispered, "Thank you for trying, but I think it's best I handle this on my own. Sorry you had to get involved like this." Giving him one last smile, I chased after David, having to jog to catch up to him.

"Please...wait. Don't leave, David, please."

Jeff:

I didn't buy David's story but it was obvious that Stephanie was hellbent on having him. I took a mental photograph of her giving me that last smile and thought about blocking her path. "I'm a lot a bigger than her, I can stop her easily." I thought to myself. However, I knew to let her go. I watched her chase him out the glass doors. I glanced at my watch, "10:32". I didn't feel like going home and I was riding an emotional rollercoaster. If only I could make Stephanie see David was the wrong guy for her. "He's a ticket to nowhere, Steph, I'm the one with the book contract, I'm the one that will be faithful." I imagined myself saying to her. I decided I should probably just count my losses and head home for the night.

The pay phone in the corner caught my eye. "Hmmm..." I muttered aloud. I held the phone in my hand, the dialtone didn't help my throbbing head. "If this is on campus call please press only the last 4 digits of the number." said the automated female voice on the other end. "7...5...3...9." I said punching the numbers in. "Hello...Dana?" I said. "Who's this?" she said "Yes, you don't know me, my name is Jeff, I'm David's friend, I was wondering if you could help me with something." "Um...maybe, what do you need?" she said hesitantly. "See, David's gotten himself in some trouble, I probably shouldn't tell you what it is, anyways he's really upset, a group of us are planning to meet him at his apartment later tonight, so if you can meet me there in about a half hour, that'd be great, I'm sure some familiar faces would really cheer him up." "Ok, I'll be there in a little while." she said. "Perfect, thanks a lot, bye." I hung up the receiver, pleased with myself. Now to make use of the spare key David had given me and just hope that he would be going home. I could see it all so clearly in my imagination. David enters, Steph right behind him, they see Dana, and voila Jeff to the rescue. I could just picture the look on David's face and more specifically the look on Stephanie's face, she would probably cry, which I didn't want but if it was going to happen I just had to let it happen. "Richards, you magnicifient bastard." I said to myself exiting the building.

Lance and Sandra:

Sandra seductively slithered onto Lances muscled body, curling her fingers around his arms, teasing his crotch with her other hand.

''No..I can't...I can't do this anymore Sandra. I can't...' says ance quietly, trying to slowly pull away.

''Give in Lance...give in. You can't stop yourself from wanting, and you shouldn't...'' continues Sandra, seducing Lance even more, kissing his neck and upper chest, slowly sliding down.

Lance grabs Sandra by the shoulders of her kimono and pulls her off.

''No Sandra. I don't give in to my weakness. You know that better than anyone.'' says Lance to the gorgeouse martial artist, accidently revealing her breasts as he pulled her off.

Sandra looked at Lance with an angry face...then slowly smiled.

''Lance, you're so strong willed. Even againts my seductions. You don't need guidane...you need to be loved. That is all...' says Sandra smiliing, closing her kimono.

Lance stands up, and kisses Sandra on the forhead.

''Thank you Sandra.'' says lance opening the sliding door.

''...you remember when I told you I loved you Sandra?'', says Lance, his back turn to Sandra as he faces the hallway.

Sandra looked up at Lances back, looking into the eyes of the dragon and tiger tattoos. ''No. You never did say it...'', she says.

''Well...I do.'' says Lance turning his head slightly as he said this and then walking out.

Lance walked out of the room and down the hallway, almost jogging towards the door. Toru, the night guardian bowed as he passed by.

''Good evening, young master.'', says Toru.

In her room, Sandra curls up with her knees to her chest, crying...

''I love you too Lance. I love you so much...'' she says to herself.

Walking towards his own place his sighed and turned back around, towards Steph…

“Alright, I admit, we need to talk… Lets go somewhere quiet…” he said as he took her by the hand and lead her down a road, they walked for awhile, quiet, he didn’t say anything, nor did their surroundings, it was absolute night, soon they came to a place famously known as Sex-Point Peek, he took a seat on one of the man benches and just sat there besides her for a moment, looking up to the skies, sighing softly as he looked back to her…

“Look, I’ve been thinking Steph… I…I forgive you” he said with a smile as he slid closer to her, thigh t o thigh now, his hand taking hers and pulling her digits close to his lips, kissing them softly, his arms sliding around her shoulders now, it was a warm summer evening, the wind gently swayed around them as he looked over to her as he started to speak once more…

“Did... did it feel good, to have…to be with someone?” he sighed as he looked down…

Waiting for an answer…

Stephanie:

"No, David, it didn't! It was a drunken mistake, one I wish I'd never made! I love you and only you...It just happened." I frowned, knowing that line was so cliche it would sound fake. But it was true...I hadn't planned the sex, nor really wanted it. The wine and his nearness had just overtaken me, and I hadn't known what to do. But alcohol was never an excuse; I'd known what I was doing. I'd just been too caught up to stop it.

Looking at David, I reached out to caress his face. "You do believe me don't you baby?"
