I am not in my youth which is a big part of my problem. I am an older man playing a younger man's sport. And accustomed to being very competitive.

Some day in the future I will learn. But it will probably not be any time soon.

I wish I had 6 yrs back so that the woman I had to say goodbye to 2 weeks ago would be mine. My heart aches for her and I can't have her...eventhough it's best for us right now to part.

I wish there weren't negative consequences to some things.....like right now I wish I could leave work, drive over and pick up my girlfriend from her work and take her home to my place to the recently updated purple-manchestered-bed and do delicious things with her! Then I'd take her back to work (much later on though!) and pick up my husband and take him home and tell him all about it and then we'd both be turned on and want to do sexy things with each other as well

On an emotional level I wish alot of things: that I was more secure within myself, that I could spend more time with the people dearest to me, that I felt my worth as much as my husband does about me, that my husband and I could travel without the financial worries and consequences of us doing it spontaneously, that my husband and I owned our own house, that my brother could find it in himself to know that he's truly loved and that he isn't worthless, that my Mum took a more positive view of her health problems instead of struggling with them, that I wasn't fearful of being judged so I could openly show affection all the time with my girlfriend.
