I wish political posters also talked about things other than Trump

As much as I enjoy browsing through political threads about american politics -especially since most of them are of a high quality-,
-- I'm starting to get fed up with seeing mainly "Trump good" versus "Trump bad" threads on the first page.

And I suspect that other Litsters feel the same way.

So if anyone is reading these, could you please try to diversify your topics a bit?
ie adding international politics, religion or other social aspects or anything else

How bout BiSexualObama?

ColoredCunt?

CuntClinton?

BlacKamilla?

Lemme know

People post what they know, or think they know. Aside from mostly American or Brit politics you aren't going to find a whole lot of Litsters that care about what's not in their bubble.

Yes, good point.

On the other hand, political posters like King Orfeo, 4est, Eternal Fantasies, Ishmael and even BND used to start interesting threads that focused on other topics too.
And since they typically draw in both political and non- political posters, they were managing to add more balance to the board.

But they've been "slacking" a bit lately on that, so to speak.

Speaking for myself I really don't want to hear about what's going on in their bubbles.

There really hasn't been a whole lots of news besides Trump, lately. Busybody makes a thread for every thought he has, when he should really have his own blurt thread...keep it organized.

Uhhhh hmmmm

An armed Russian jet came within 20 ft of a Navy plane. Although considered safe, they've been flexing their muscles near the Alaskan coast four times recently.

It's the entire reason why a political board here exists. Yet the moderators around here don't do squat.

Thus, leading the troll in question and select others to spam the board like the good little worker bees that they are.

There is no rule against poli posts on the GB, it's just a suggestion to post in the poli thread. The forum was a bust, me thinks.

Did you say something?

It certainly wasn't you with 59 posts.

Visited the Politics Forum and after a few days of reading decided it needed to be renamed the Hurt Locker.:)

How about that muscular cast of potential national candidates the Democrats are waiting to unleash on the public.
Pocahontas, for one.
And that Ellison fellow.
You may think I'm kidding, but if the Republicans continue to blow off Trump's bid to fence the border with Mexico, watch supporters stay home in non-droves on future election days.

Don't even they, most of them, realize such a wall is pointless and needless and a waste of money and an international embarrassment?

Unsurprisingly, Syria is once again the number one global hotspot for armed conflict, the International Institute for Strategic Studies reveals. But the second worst hotspot is located nowhere close to the Middle East, where one would normally expect it. In fact, it couldn't be closer to home. The IISS says that 23,000 Mexicans were victims of mostly drug-related guerrilla warfare last year, which is just under half of the 50,000 lives taken in Syria.
IISS director general John Chipman points out that "Mexico is a conflict marked by the absence of artillery, tanks or combat aviation," which only adds shock value to the alarming toll. In Syria, the opposite is true. The report also proves just how effective Donald Trump's immigration clampdown has been. According to The Washington Times, "Illegal immigration across the southwestern border is down a stunning 76 percent since President Trump was elected, with the flow of children and families dropping even faster as analysts say the administration's commitment to enforcing the law has changed the reality along the border."
That's a remarkable drop, yet it's nary enough, given the threat. The degree to which violence is devastating Mexico is more evidence of our need for a border wall. Gangs and drug runners have found numerous ways to exploit border security (or lack thereof), and the statistics demonstrate both how serious the threat truly is and what they are capable of. Meanwhile, here's a question for "compassionate" Democrats that will leave them looking like a deer staring in the headlights: Why do leftists support open borders to the world's second most deadly country?

Somebody give hashtag his bubba, he's getting cranky. Now he's getting tired of the politics because all his bros do is push their pro trump talking points. It's not like anybody told him that his bros were annoying one trick ponies who've been spouting the same shit and quoting the same books for the last 15 years. It's not like he encouraged it and started 50 political threads himself either. So now we must all abide by hashtag's moral code and not talk politics so much so that he will have a better literotica experience. Come on people, is that too much to ask for?

What a fucking creep.
