The D in BDSM suggests you are wrong, IMHO. It may not all be sexual, but domination is domination.lavender said:Not every usage of dom/sub mentality reflects BDSM practices. Discuss.

Go ahead and answer seriously if you want to, Cherry, but she was aiming this whole thread at me for my really insensitive and unwarranted intrusion into the solemnity of the emotion generated in another thread. It was never really about the question she asked.Cherry said:Do you want a serious answer?
Or, is this thread considered now closed by hi-jacking?
No no no no no no no no NOT you, Cherry. That comment was aimed at all the millions of silent readers who would have chosen THAT moment to jump in with both barrels blazing. I am fairly aware that what i say here extends to people i don't know. I always imagine us on stage, but it's a darkened arena where the seats extend out and up, as if our stage is at the bottom of a bowl. and they're all filled, those seats, with people we don't yet know. I just didn't want one of them (or two...or three...) picking this time to jump into things, you know, cuz, well, i'm hurting and wouldn't be able to do much of a job holding up my end of things.Cherry said:I had no intention of infuriating you, nor degrading BDSM practices, with my viewpoint. Odd, that you assumed I would.
