I don't think you can delete threads (you couldn't on the old software; not sure about this platform). All you can do is delete the content. The empty shell will remain as a perpetual tribute to your error!

Just kidding about that last part. Don't sweat it. Eventually it will migrate to the bottom and be forgotten.
