I was amused this morning...

For a few minutes. I received another feedback from a Troll. Frankly the spelling and grammar were so bad I had difficulty even reading Mr. "Anonymous" flowing prose. But after a few minutes deciphering the mess that this person offered as "Feedback" it became clear from the content that this person is, in fact, a regular reader of the AH and the Story Feedback Forums.

Personally, I find this disturbing on several levels. It's disturbing that anyone with such little ability to express himself in a coherently written form should be a reader of the Lit Author's arena and that this person should have so little gumption as to launch his vicious attack and remain hidden behind the "Anonymous" name.

But since he has chosen to hide himself this way I will use this forum for my response.

Dear Mr. Anonymous,

Your feed back lacks a certain credibility. After reading your vicious attack on some story or other (I'm not sure which one it was) I notice that you failed to either mention the title of the story you read or even bother to mention what you found unacceptable about the story.

Your grammar and spelling it simply awful. You really should find yourself an editor to go over your Feedback before you submit it. Also, I'm wondering if your supply of Paxil has run out since the ideas and imagery in your Feedback is completely lacking in content, intellect and even cohesion.

Please rewrite your Feedback and resubmit it and I will take another look at it. Your current submission rates no higher than an "F+".

The same thing happens to me every now and then. I don't get much criticism anymore, since I stopped accepting anonymous feedback - if you don't like my stuff, then have the guts to stand up for your dislike! - but even with the nice feedback, I get puzzled.

"Hey, Svenska, I just read your story, and I liked it a lot! Gave me a real hard-on!"

That's nice, dear, I'm happy for you. Now, I've written a little more than 100 things for Lit - which one of them are you talking about?

Don't take it to heart love, it takes all sorts to make a readership But I know what you mean, they have the cheek to be critical when they can't even spell critical.

I worry that erotic chat is going to ruin USA. I imagine a whole nation typing with just one hand. And not only is it obscene, it's hard to read! I mean, "fick me! fick me! show me your tots!" ?????

It shouldn't surprise you that trolls check out the authors hangout and story feedback forum. Your average trolls have a grudge, an axe to grind, some inner feeling of insecurity and doubt that manifests as a petty and mean neeed to hurt others.

Some trolls however have an agenda. Perhaps an aspiring author who is jealous of your work or smarting because they asked for feedback and didn't get the ego stroking they felt they so richly deserved from you. Perhaps we are talking about those strange people who castigate all who write erotica as Perverts and degenerates, but can't help but read our works to satisfy their own inner needs.

Someone with an agenda will obviously attempt to "know thine enemy" and where can you get to know us better than here? We are all freer here with the person beind the Av, the soul behind the words because we feel comfortable with each other. Where better for a malicious troll to learn what to say to really cause pain rather than just sting?

Your garden variety troll is an irritant. The ones with the agendas are pains in the tush. They try harder and often succeed in being more malignant. And like all bullies, varmints, and pondscum they lack the inherent courage to face a response. Since cowardice is such a maor component of their makeup the odds are very good they never even post. they just lurk, looking for something they can say that will cut. The fact that this person, armed with this knowledge is still unable to phrase an intelligible sentence should give you some idea of the monolithivc intelligence you are dealing with

BOW DOWN BEFORE THEIR SUPERIOR INTELLECT AND ABILITY! FEAR THEIR MIGHTY POWERS AND LOGIC. aDMIT THEY ARE SUPERIOR TO YOURSELF AND WORSHIP THEM!!!!...or don't. But if you don't ooh, are they gonna send you a nasty feeedback and vote one on all your stories. Take that. Annonamously of course, wouldn't want to face a rebuttal. They might have to cry then.

The trolls always crack me up. I'm quit certain the male trolls all have 2" hard-ons and the female trolls have herpes they actually DID get from a toilet seat and not the "correct" way.

I get these now and again. The thing that struck me about this creature was that he quoted things I had posted here in the AH. I suspect because he is not literate enough to have been able to work his way through the first page of any story I've written.
