I have a question How do you know when women are ovalating ??My wife and I would like to have a baby how do I Know when she is in her prime to get pregnant??

Well, since I guess my babe doesn't want to help out his poor friend, Dr. Tiggs is on the case! There are kits out there (some of which are over the counter just like condoms and pregnancy tests) to help a couple trace a woman's cycle. Also, look at it this way... If you don't exactly trace the cycle you can have a LOT of fun "practicing". :) Hang in there and be patient. My ex and I had been having unprotected sex from Sept. '99 to July '00 and I never once got pregnant when I was with him...

Yes there are the kits out there and it has a lot to do with her cycle and how regular she is. Get a kit and then you will be able to determine better of when she is ovulating good luck to the both of you.

You can buy a prepackaged kit to help - I think it is caled "clear plan easy"

The trick to that temperature is to "hit it" when her temperature drops. It will drop below and then rise above her baseline average every month. The drop indicates an egg has been produced, then the rise indicates it's travelling to where it needs to, to get fertilized. If you "hit it" when her temperature drops, the egg and sperm arrive in the same place at roughly the same time.

By the way, for those of you who know about my own little excursions into the land of baby making, the doctor has figured out that my wife doesn't make enough progesterone to keep a pregnancy for long. Sooooo...hormone therapy is prescribed and I keep pluggin away!

Something that is "fixable" is always good news!Congratulations on being one step closer to the arrival of your child.
