I'm watching an episode of great hotels, and they're showing the Bellagio in Las Vegas. It looks like a gorgeous hotel. Has anyone here stayed there?

I haven't stayed there but would love to also.

I walked the lobby and grounds when it first opened and it is a very nice hotel.

I want to stay there and see O.

I have.

Stayed there last year at a confrence in October. Rates were cheap $89, because it was 3 weeks after 9/11..

Beautiful place. The fountain shows were great. Food magnificent. Rooms are huge.

Goning back to Vegas in 2 weeks, but the Balagio rooms are $495 a night now.

My wife and I have tickets to see it when we're there Ruby...I can't wait. There were no tickets available last year:(

Everyone who has seen it says it's wonderful

The dancing water is great...and it's definately worth it to just stroll by on your way up or down the strip

The lobby is very nice and the hotel is beautiful but the rooms aren't as nice as you'd think. If you want a really nice experience rent a jaccuzzi suite at The Stardust. Ok so you think the jaccuzzi suite - eek--- soak and poke but they are very clean and about the same price as a regular plain room at Bellagio. MGM also has really nice rooms. :rose:

I've seen two Cirque du Soleil shows and they were both awesome. O looks like the best yet. I'm so envious of you and your wife.

Are the cheap tickets still $100 a piece?

Sure are:D even for partially obstructed view...but since i don't gamble ...much ...and the compay is paying airfare and hotel, i figured why not...

Any other show recomendations in Vegas?

I'm such a tourist when it comes to LV...I want to stay at the Luxor...

The first and only time I was in LV we stayed at the Excalabur...nothing special there...but that intersection with NewYork and MGM and the Luxor was my favourite area in the whole city. Had lots of good luck at the MGM as well...

I love the Venitian, but that has to do with being able to walk out of my room and be on the trade show floor.
I was emailed yesterday by National Airlines and The Venitian, everything is really cheap right now.
I'm up for a road trip, but I think we should get a suite at the Bellagio!

The Bellagio is a nice place. Never stayed there but some friends have. The fountain show is great.

If you like art too they have a small exhibit. Not bad. A couple good Monets, a Renior and a Manet too if I rem right.

November 8th - 10th in Las Vegas....anyone up for it?

Tempting, but I don't think I can that weekend. :(
Perhaps later in the week or the next weekend.

But who knows.

Did both, a couple of years ago for my birthday. The accomodations were very nice, but really not much fancier than The Mirage or even Treasure Island (which are all owned and managed by the same company). The rooms are very similar in all 3 properties; the only real difference is the bathrooms, which are larger and better equipped in the Bellagio (with a large soaking tub and separate shower). In my opinion, the only real perk you would get from staying at the Bellagio, as opposed to staying say at the Mirage and hanging out at the Bellagio, is the fact that you have access to their amazing pool complex, which is the most beautiful I've ever seen. Everything else you can experience as a visitor. If you do stay at the Bellagio, though, be sure to get a lakeside room, as you will LOVE watching the fountain show over and over. Our room also had a beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower at Paris, Las Vegas.

O is absolutely spectacular, easily the most eye-popping show I've ever seen. The music was incredible, and the visuals were even more advanced than the other Cirque du Soleil shows I've seen. The incredible water stage and theater themselves are works of art. I give the show my highest recommendation.

I was just in Vegas this weekend. I love the Bellagio. It's so beautiful. :) I wouldn't mind staying there. However, of all the hotels in Vegas, I love the Monte Carlo. Don't know why, but I do. I've only stayed there once and the rooms were beautiful.

Thats where we will be staying when we go...looks pretty nice, form the pics on the internet.

Any show recomendations?

April, weekend of Dec. 1st. Far enough out that anyone who wants to come can get a cheap fair.

The Luxor. . .

. . .is the best in my opinion. Very nice rooms. Big pool area. Good health club. Excellent restaurants. And. . .I've won big both times I was there.

The MGM is too big. I'm afraid I'd get lost!

If you're looking for deals, go to Travelocity.com. . . they offer last minutes specials that include airfare/hotel and/or car rental (you don't need a car in Vegas). Good luck!

Either of the permanent Cirque du Soleil shows (O at the Bellagio, Mystére at Treasure Island) would be my first recommendation, followed by Blue Man Group at Luxor.

We just booked a last minute trip to Las vegas, leaving this Sunday. We are staying at the Aladdin....and we are going to see the O show for the second time. A part of my birthday present....

I would love to stay at the Bellagio...someday. For now I enjoy sitting in the piano bar, sipping a cosmopolitan...and my favorite part...people watching.

We are going to dinner one night at the Marakesh......yay!

There is a very good gelato cafe in the Bellagio. DO NOT settle for the gelato at the Alladin, if you're in Vegas. DO go to the Bellagio. I've thoroughly researched this - trust me.

I love Vegas! I'm planning to go in the spring. I've never stayed at Bellagio, but it's a beautiful hotel. All the new ones are lovely.
