I was watching Home Matters and they had a couple's makeover. The woman, looked so much like Starfish, I was yelling, "Look, look, that's Starfish from the board!" So, Star, was it? If it was I imagine you no longer have long red hair, but are now a blond with a bob. It was a really radical makeover. . .was it you? :)

LoL.

Well, I used to be a blond, but the last time I had a bob was when I was 16. I hated it though, so I grew it out, and have just kept it about mid back length for about 10 years now. It got down to my ass this summer and I chopped it again to my waist.

I won't ever cut it shorter than that, and now that I am using henna, instead of dye, I'll 'prolly' let it grow to my knees now.

I want to be one of those old ladies that has really long silver hair, and braids it, instead of having old lady football helmet hair. :D

Speaking of that old lady hair...

Is that a result of women seeking easy hair to deal with, because it seems that it is actually more work than just brushing your hair each day? I watched my mom have silly hair like that and it never looked good unless she put an hour to two hours of styling into it.

*contemplativly sighs*

I don't want to have old lady hair.......EVER! It scares me.

heeeeeeee heeeeeeeeee (no I am not yayati)

Bob, I may reconsider. Persuasion is a motivator.

Amen, my sista! You and me both.

I've actually let my hair get longer now that it's really starting to turn. Silver is a much more incredible shade than the brown ever was.

Bob, smiles are hard to resist. How did you know?
I am a sucker. Just go look at my pic thread, and you'll see how much I suck. lol.

Kitten Eyes, Isn't it?

I actually can't wait, and I think I will be lucky enough to start turning in the next 5 or so years. Most of the ladies in my family started to turn in their 30's. That is cool by me. It looks totally awesome.

I thought of going platnium before I went red, but I didn't want to weaken my hair anymore than it could handle, and I have a huge amount of red in my hair naturally, so I just opted for the easier, less damaging one, and am waiting for nature to take it's course.

My grays started at seventeen and the women in my father's family (I get my coloring from him) are all solid silver by 40.

I did have to start coloring my hair a little. The gray is at a stage where it is creating a washed out look. So until more come in, I am "tinting" them.

I think several hours of teasing is required for the helmet head. I want an oriental old lady's hair. ;) Bummer that it wasn't you Star, but I'm kinda' glad it wasn't, since I think long red hair is hot. :D
