Good idea, SailorMan. I would also add plastic trash bags over the sheets. Extra mulch on the ground, too.

I've got insulated pots that I'll turn upside down over a few things, but others are too large. Sheets would save the roses from a frost but from a freeze, nope... The mulch/straw will help with my strawberries and onions.
I'm going to spend most of the afternoon covering plants. If I cover them soon enough, some of the heat may get trapped inside the double walled plastic. *crosses fingers* I really don't want to lose pretty pots like this-
