I think the "Lit Indy 500" has just started again today.....you must either post in a thread at breakneck speed to stay in the conversation, or your post gets lost due to 4 or 5 others jumping around you.....seems there are certain points in the day to stay away from lit at all costs....it is nothing more than a pack of dogs - each peeing on every tree immediately after the last splash was made...
 
I think the solution is to drink lots of water and get back in there. The chicks dig wet legs.

lol....my solution is to simply go back a few pages and find a thread not being mauled by others....and, to be honest, I don't need to drink water to make my legs wet...at my age it happens spontaneously at times....:D

Hit on the guys. I mean REALLY hit on the guys. I can kill a thread with one really disturbing line. Just make sure your PM's are closed in case...well, just in case.

Apparently, when it comes to killing threads, you have a lot to learn. I have found that just being myself causes threads to die. I do not need to use any disturbing line to kill a thread.

As to hitting on the guys, I think many would think that the, "Jeff" in Jeff_is_smiling really might be short for, "Jeffina" and maul me as well....turning off the PMs is a good idea though....just in case....

Hey, if you want solitude and no one jumping over you, wander into any thread I've started. Bring a date, some flowers, maybe some music. No one will bother you. Oh, they'll lurk a plenty, but they'll leave you alone. I almost somewhat guarantee it. But I accept your thread killing challenge, Sir. I accept in deed.

I appreciate the offer of solitude. I, myself, have PLENTY of examples of threads where what COULD be a thriving communications forum turned into a massive echo chamber.

I offer these fine examples, and challenge you to match the ineptness of these threads! Notice the number of responses to these threads? I used to think a thread I made was successful if I could get 100 responses...but then I lowered my expectations down to it being successful if it had 100 views....but these were stinkers of the 1st order:

There is seldom anything I do here, speedily and I love to be touched, but let them go some place else with the 'mauling' ;)

Thank you for the hug....it seems you might be in agreement that the best things take time...lots and lots of time....to get just the right sensation and feeling.....taking my time is something I enjoy....:devil:
