I couldn't agree more I'll forward you the recipe if you like, but you'd better put on your baking mitts cuz making a good danish dough is as hard as making a puff pastry dough from scratch (meaning: it's not easy )

And that's why I shy away from them in the first place....I enjoy a good danish, but not enough, or rather frequently enough, to justify 'slaving' in the kitchen for it. But that being said, I do always enjoy cooking up a good tray of munchies when the fam and sis's in-laws come over...plus would give me some more variety for next apple season, in lieu of just the standard pies and sauces.
