i think it's unbelievably warm here for the middle of december, but i am not complaining. (61 for a high today)

i think : hi, Lily.

i think i'm gonna sneak over to MsT's place and scoop up a couple of pieces of fudge; one for me, one for Lily.

^I think yum!

I think it's too cold here and want to stay in bed.

I think you both are more than welcome.

I also think I did it a bit different this year.

I further think that the individual cups of fudge will be a winner.

:D

I think all this talk of fudge has me wanting to grab the powdered sugar and cocoa. My mother had a great recipe for fudge, included a marshmallow cream, butter, cocoa, and sugar. Yummmm

i think i have a question, i've only made fudge once in my life and it was in the third grade for a bake sale. the adult did most of the work and it involved a double boiler, but i'd like to try on my own one day.

do you use the double boiler method? microwave or frozen marble slab?

I'm sure MrsT has a more involved method, but you can make a very easy "fudge" in the microwave with butter, cocoa, POWDERED SUGAR, dash of salt. It doesn't set up quite as nicely as the cooked fudge, but, if you are just craving chocolate and you've got a spoon, well...:D

I think I just use a regular sauce pan ...

I can send you the recipe if you wish. It's a very simple.

Actually I don't ...

i think that'd be the perfect snack for me personally on the days i'm craving chocolate.

i think i'd like that, MsT. thank you.

Well, then, lol I Think my recipe comes right out of the idiot's guide to gaining weight...

1 stick butter
1/3 cup cocoa
1/4 tsp salt
Powdered sugar to sweeten and thicken.

Directions:

In a microwave safe bowl, melt the butter.
Throw in the cocoa and salt, and stir.
Keep adding powdered sugar till you get a nice consistency, thicker than a buttercream, but not so thick you can't spread it it in a 9x9 greased dish.

You can add nuts, chips, what have you...
Put in fridge to set up , cut and enjoy.

Or just sit there with the spoon and eat it without waiting..Your choice.. I like choices.. hahaha!

I think when you don't have time for the cooked method
Paula Deens Dummy Fudge is a great recipe...

Ingredients
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup butterscotch chips
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 cup pecans (any type of nut will work)

Directions

Butter a 9 by 9-inch baking dish

Melt chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, and condensed milk in double boiler on medium heat. Once smooth remove from heat. Add vanilla and nuts. Scoop into baking dish and chill in refrigerator until set for approximately 10 minutes.

P.S. I used all chocolate chips.
