I Think....

I think I have a pretty good RL. And, I don't believe that people who utilize Lit
do because they are unsuccesful in RL.

I also think that you get what you give.

I think people confuse Lit with RL too many times.

I think you're cool like that. :rose:

I think I have an uncanny knack for posting some silly thing, only to have it posted over a micro-second later...and naturally be the last post of the previous page where no one sees how very clever I am....a shame...some of my best material is wasted that way....:D

I think the Saints should can their special teams coach and learn to kick the ball THROUGH the end zone...geeez!!

I think...I think a lot of small business owners, the upper end of the middle class and the family farmers (three areas the dems & repubs claim to care about) will be in for a quite a surprise. Forget about an increase in the personal income tax or reinstatement of the full payroll tax, the big surprise will be the lifetime gift tax exemption. For 2012, it's $5,120,000.00. If Washington doesn't act, it'll only be $1,000,000.00 in 2013. Paying one's fair share is one thing, but forcing hard working Americans to pay an endless stream of taxes (triple taxation) is absurd. You pay taxes when you make it, you pay taxes when you invest it & you pay taxes when you die. If any of the aforementioned three were to pass early, this excessive tax will close down small businesses, force the sale of family farms and not let one generation leave a lifetime legacy to all subsequent generations.

That's not all. We currently have fica (social security & medicare), futa (unemployment) & social security integration that lowers the overall defined benefit pension payments. It now appears your 401(k) is next. There is discussion that future 401(k) contributions will no longer be invested as they currently are. They will be paid to the US Treasury (presumably placed in the social trust fund) & be integrated with your future social security "assumed" benefit payments upon retirement. Don't even get me started on "means testing", dividends & capital gains.

I don't care how liberal you are, how progressive you are or how philanthropic you are with someone else's money (I know all you libs are all about redistribution of wealth). But are you okay with this when your money is involved?

Side note: I can already see all the low information, mindless zombies that are a part of the "Yes, we can," "Maybe we won't," "No, we didn't" crowd start frothing at the mouth. Save your sarcasm, folks. We all know you're part of our new "entitlement society."

Consider myself a conservative democrat

I think it's fucked and been fucked for a very long time.

I'm putting my money in my mattress as I am a princess.

I cash out my 401k and the bills won't even be enough for me to feel under my pillow top mattress.

Unlike the pea.

I think I realized how special someone was to me this weekend and I am grateful for having the ability to understand it
