I think some people forget the Brits invented the English language before the Americans did :D

I think British humor is by far better than american.
I have a British slang dictionary on my phone.

I think I really miss Benny Hill, but top gear is a pretty good replacement.

nope, did figure out how to put things in watched posts.
Forgive my ignorance.
I have the how to guide saved, gonna be reading and experimenting some today.

there's a facility entitled recent activity that's useful for tracking who favourited a story, who left a comment, if ypu've been added to anyone's favourite list, etc.

That part I check regularly, I do like to comment back to anyone who may comment on a story.
I originally joined this site for the stories, than I tried my hand at writing a couple. Then I found the playground and got hooked.
Discovery should be the result of all travels.

I wasn't a Benny Hill fan, but I do love British humour. One of my fav movies is Kinky Boots and I used to faithfully watch Kumars at 42, Dr. Who (the old version...and even knitted a scarf like Tom Baker wore), and The Vicar of Dibley with Dawn French. I don't watch much tv now so I can't say I have new favs.

I think there's plenty of good american humour out there :)

I think perhaps you need to be on the opposite side of the water to appreciate it perhaps ;)

I think british humor is terrific too... It's funny, I only saw Benny Hill a couple times on tv the whole time i lived in England.. there are much better shows to watch than his. Aside from the obvious Monty Pyton classics...my favs will always remain Alas Smith and Jones, Little and Large, The Two Ronnies, Young Ones, Kenny Everett...

great stuff...

I think I would enjoy crossing the pond someday. Visit Ireland, London, Britain see the sights and enjoy the history

Hey, sexy one. How are you this morning? My plans got cancelled for today :( and really bummed about it. I guess I will continue to work on cleaning out the basement. Have to burn off energy somehow. ;)

My travels have all been limited to the Far East. Hopfully when I finally do retire I will get to do some traveling again.

I was born a traveling man, but ended up a working fool.

I think I'll have to wait until retirement before I can travel too :)
