Stress - salt - caffeine - age - weight - family history - the factors that affect a person's blood pressure is staggering and those are only the ones I named off the top of my head. I'm pretty good with handling the 4 of the 6, but yesterday I know I over-indulged in salt more so than usual. I don't eat chips all that often and I had an 8 oz bowl of them, just a cup or so, but it was still more than I've had in months.

I think you need to cheer up and get over the guilt of having had chips , it will help you reduce your blood pressure
