I think that 5 o'clock meeting went very well (even if she did turn up at twenty to five and stay for two hours and K hadn't even arrived, so I had to phone him).... considering I started off by telling her off for only arranging it with him and not clearing it with me and then proceeded to tell her in no uncertain terms exactly what I think of the total incompetence of the people she works with and said I hoped she could do better... and then told her she'd completely wasted her time reading that other report.... and that if anything from that one went in hers, I would be making BIG complaints.
I think she was very thorough.
I think she struck me as being excellent at her job.
I think they should consider employing a few more people like her, although she'll probably end up leaving like the other excellent worker they had there last year.
I think she is very perceptive and very down-to-earth and very likeable.
I think she'll probably produce a very fair and honest report.
I think I'm glad we had that meeting today, it kind of restored my faith in human nature after such a crap day.
