I've never understood that-what is chicken fried steak? Is it steak or chicken? and if it's steak what makes it chicken fried?:eek:

Chicken fried steak (also known as pan-fried steak,[1] or CFS) is a dish consisting of a piece of steak (tenderized cube steak) coated with seasoned flour and pan-fried. It is associated with Southern U.S. cuisine.
