Parents I saw tended to not be realistic always about what their children were capible of... some kids aren't going to smile. A lot of parents want that 'perfect' studio shot of the kid sitting looking at the camera smiling... BORING!!
Also, I can't tell you how many times I heard "if you don't smile I am going to spank you."
I had parents allow their kids to destroy my studio without being punished...
I could go on and on... but I still miss it.
