I think you're right about Descartes- but I also think the three H's (Hobbes, Hume &Honderich) haven't quite hit the nail on the head either.... all too simplistic.

I think making the call to begin recycling what my recycling station accepts (glass/plastic #1 & #2, cardboard, and newspapers/magazines) has not only paid off for the environment but for me too.
I think my awesomeness has just saved me $4.00 a month in trash collection and I get a smaller trash can to set at the road every week. *does the dance again*
I think $4.00 a month extra may seem small to some, but with the $110/mth. I cut from cable/landline/internet service I am really learning to better budget my finances.
I think I may have to save money with Geico next (probably not but I had to throw it in there).

I think I wanna say: Thanks. I'm thrilled and excited too. Especially knowing that the average cost for my kid to apply to colleges is running us $55.00 an application! She's a sweetie though and is helping when an application submission falls close to her pay period for her job. My kids are amazing and will leave here knowing that fiances are tough and when they struggle, things can be cut and priorities realigned to make things work. They won't have car payments because both have old cars that are paid for. One has a 1994 Jeep (purchased for 1400), the other a 1995 Cadillac (purchased for 1000) - the miles are high, there are some cosmetic things, but they won't need a car from a dealer when they start out on their paths.
