i think about a first kiss...im sitting on a little rise overlooking the city. There are so many lights that i dont have half the number of stars as some do. The hill is right between the flight pattern of planes coming into Los Angeles. Its like a beautiful string of pearls in front of me in the evening sky. they are perfectly aligned, ready to sail past me, ready to deliver new dreams to LA.

Romance is watching, guessing which plane she is on...wondering is she ready to see me...your mind can soar on this little hill, there is hope in the white lights flickering ahead you, the sound of their deep voices as they pass...

I imagine spotting the one i think she is on, i run to my car, speed to the airport, then race to meet her at the terminal, surrounded by hundreds of faces, will i see hers...will she see mine and not run, lol...Slow motion, the din softens, focus narrows, i spot her, trying with all i have not to cry, that the release of just one tear will set off an explosion of emotion...unable to speak, all i can do is reach for her, wrap her in my arms, lean in and give that first, soft, sweet, tender, full of love, full of hope...kiss
