If it's true, who's fault is it? Democrats, many of them black are running the cities where all of this is alleged and which are being destroyed. They have been in charge for decades. They created the hiring policies, the law enforcement policies, they erected the statues that offend you. A black President was in charge for 8 years, why didn't he fix things in his party's cities?

Typical reaction to a salient point, that for thousands of years and right up into the 19th and 20th Century, it was a universal endeavor involving all races. I have never owned a slave and no black American has been a slave in the United States. There is no slavery, Republicans freed America's slaves in 1865. Well let's see... Republicans have executed trickle down 5 times in the last 40 years and all five times their economies have ended with recession and a huge transference of wealth from the middle class and poor to the most wealthy. If you make more poverty, you get more crime.
Plus 12 blue states generate 62% of the GDP and federal tax revenue but they only receive an average of $ 0.78 value for every fed tax dollar paid while red states receive an average of $ 1.22 value for every fed tax dollar paid. If blue states received $ 1 value for every $ 1 paid, there would be no urban issues in blue states. In other words, red states are living off the government subsidies... paid to them to vote republican... and they still can't figure out how to properly educate their citizens or generate enough business to deliver 2% each of GDP to pull their own weight. And you don't have to believe it... all you need to do is promote legislation that requires each state receive $ 1 value for every $ 1 fed tax paid... with all revenue and expenditures, even the overages accounted for.
Obama spent the first two years trying to stabilize the economy after the Bush took an annual surplus and brought us to near depression with record spending and deficits. Obama also had to address getting us out of two wars, one being illegal and he addressed national health care. From there, the republican tea party took control of the congress because of overspending... even though Obama brought the annual deficit down each year for 8 years while also delivering a growth economy. You don't see or hear from the tea party now do you... even though trump is spending the near equivalent of Bush's record spending... and all the gains are gone for the 5th trickle down in a row...

It is that very alleged activity that has led the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to launch a probe into multiple gangs hidden within the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

The Banditos, Spartans, Regulators, and Reapers are literal gangs that are claimed to exist within the Los Angeles law enforcement agency. The investigation started after allegations of abuse by the Banditos in March.

It's the same concept for racist statues.

Those statues are blocking Americans right to breathe freely in the public square and they want to destroy them.

Just like you the farmer would ask the person who dammed the stream to remove the dam before you destroyed it, people have asked to have the offensive statues removed many times before they finally decided to start destroying them.

It's even worse for the people who want the statues removed, because their tax dollars pay to build and maintain those statues, and those statues are also on public property.

It isn't that hard to understand.

Only a racist or a sociopath would continue to search for arguments to defend racist statues.

Being former law enforcement I would think using our legal system would be the path that you would use to bring a remedy to your dilemma and not take the law into your own hands. When you destroy things that are not yours it's breaking the law, when you do it wholesale across the country it's anarchy.
