Each bullet should have manufacturer's signiture so that each bullet that kill or harm a person will be traced to the manufacturer and appropriate compensation be paid to the victim and his or her families.

This will make the arms industry become more responsible in their way of how to distribute their product.

Oh, yes. I am a genius.

All I want to know is one thing. Where'd you leave your brain today? And who are you today? Ok, that's two things. This thread is way too simplistic compared to your "normal" pattern of thought.

That'd be nice as far as holding people accountable for their actions but unfortunately there are too many ways to circumvent any kind of bullet signature...

i.e.:
1. There is no way to identify buckshot.
2. It's relatively cheap and easy to make your own bullets.
3. Altering 'signatures' is even easier than #2.

And that is just off the top of my head...

robin williams---the nra says "gun's don't kill people, people kill people"...yeah, but I really think the guns helps.

[Haven't you watched Judge Dread? Bullets are DNA marked!]

:)

You got me there...

Next...

We'll have miniature GPS locators in each weapon, that way when they want them, they know whose door to kick down.

Um.....they can already tell what kind of bullet it is by looking at it.

A gold dot looks different from a hydrashock even after it makes a mess out of you, and they can weigh the bullet to ID it because they are all of a know weight.

DNA marked...OH yeah...you are a smart one...did you get your degree from Starfleet Academy?

Here is a novel idea...lets make those who shoot the bullets responsible for their actions????

100% correct. If a person uses a gun in the commision of a crime...minimum mandatory sentencing...regardless of 'deals' cut by the D.A. or Cops.

'Oh, you used a gun in this robbery. Your minimum sentence is twenty years. In addition, your conviction of robbery, adds ten years.'

No early parole for any part of the mandatory sentence. Period.

That's a revelation.

To the anti-gun lobby and he Democtats it seems to be....Are car manufactures liable for drunk driving fatalities????

I believe car manufacturers should be held liable for cars that can do 80+. Not a single state has a speed limit that high.

Drunk driving can be hindered with breathalyzer's installed as part of the ignition system. There would be ways to defeat it though.

I'm going after Hugh Hefner for false advertising and sexual harrassment.

Then John Denver's Estate for making my neighbor a pussy.

After that, Joan Rivers for a neighbor for looking like an ugly clown every morning.

Oh yeah.... I'm getting paid.
