Well, as I was changing video tapes...CNN said that Bush won the vote in Florida...but I didn't listen to it, I just heard the snippet.


Also, I don't get it...are there just not enough overseas votes to bother waiting for them all to come in?


And, CNN said the other day that the absentee ballots aren't usually counted unless it's a close race, is that true? and is that why there has never been this big of an ordeal in the past?

Sammyjo, considering the gross stupidity of the news media, I don't think we should believe what they say. The official count is not finished, and what CNN reports is what the AP has told them. There are no official numbers yet.

And yes, the absentee ballots MUST be counted. You can't just stop counting arbitrarily! The official count won't be certified until Friday at the earliest. So until then, don't believe everything you hear.
