I spent 8 hours at the Everything To Do With Sex Show yesterday...

and I had a blast. I have a couple of girlfriends who sell things through home parties and they had a booth set up at the show. I had offered to help sell things and hang out with them this weekend.

There was absolutely everything you could think of at this show...plus some!!

I was wondering what type of people I would see there and how working at a show like this would impact my view of others and their view of me.

I saw a couple of people who go to my church...a lady that I work with...older people...younger people...everyone in between. It was really nice talking to people. There were those who were there strictly for the kink...but there were so many there who just thought the event was cool and were open to learning more about whatever struck their fancy.

Hey...I even booked six home parties.

I know my mother was upset that I was going to work this show as she thought I might be putting myself out there to be hit on with perverted comments and rude offers. That could not be farther from the truth.

I met wives there without their husbands...husbands without their wives...couples...single people...a 40 year old woman who had never had an orgasm...grandparents...all looking for the same goal...to improve their sex life at home.

Yes, this place provided a public vehicle for people to learn things...but not a public vehicle to sell themselves for sex.

It really was a cool experience.

They have a show in the Uk at Earls Court every year called Erotica - it is pretty wild , you can buy anything - and I mean anything - you can test them before you buy and there are some great booths with everything you need

They also have some wicked floor shows with Guys and Gals - as well as the obligatory lingerie clad women dotted all over the place

Coupled with loads of bars it is a great place to spend a day

The only people that I interacted with that that were not strangers were my friends in the booth. Everyone else had NO problem sharing all kinds of personal information.

Imagine it to be sort of like here...with each booth being a different thread. Interaction with others is not only encouraged but acceptable.

I never said that I was a sex therapist. Hell...I was just booking home parties and talking to people. I leave the in-depth stuff to the qualified professionals....but if someone asked for my opinion on a certain product, I was more than qualified to share if I had ever used it or not.
