I solved the missing pic problem

I am losing a handful of pictures each day now.

I lost some 40+ pics on one day, reposted them all 3 times and 3 times they were gone. I'm keeping track of the number of attachments I have and that number is going down. The pictures are disappearing in order, going from newest to oldest. Some pictures are being skipped over. Those are ones with no nudity whatsoever.

You tell me, does that sound like a 'glitch' to anyone?

I have PMed the mod twice and he replied promptly both times. He assured me that nobody has been reporting pics, that he never removed any himself and that he's in the dark about what the problem is, in his opinion a technical one.

I am about fed up. I took a quick inventory of my recently posted pics and I was amazed at how many had been yanked! Funny thing is I was fully clothed in some and not in others ~shrugs~

I haven't reposted all of them yet. I may wait til they get the "technical difficulties" worked out first. It seems like a huge waste of time at this point.

I don't know... I have also noticed a dramatic increase of spammers in AmPics.... as well as an impressive invasion of GB posters, which last does not make sense, given how they tend to look down their noses on AmPics ... what's for sure is that AmPics is not what it used to be any more.

Well I can think of two reasons:

1.) they do say they remove older pics. Of course, many of the pics being removed were posted in the last 30 days.

2.) The Guidelines do say that masturbation pics are a no-no. I could see this particular set violating that rule, Ran.

I have only noticed two gaps, one these past few days in December and another one back in July. My older thread is still there with all of its 4600 attachments! If they are trying to clear up space, they ought to start from old inactive threads, as they had done back in January '03.

Also, the guidelines state B/J's and intercourse as no-no's... and I have sets violating these rules that are still sitting there intact
