I read it in a magazine

I'm sure you've done this here at one time or another, but being new, I thougt I'd toss this out. Several years ago a writers magazine I'd pick up once in a while had a contest. They gave you a phrase, I think the one I remember is something like "...she uncrumpled the paper..." and everyone had to build their short story on that. It was kind of fun. Just my two cents.

Literotica has it's own contests (for prizes and recognition), that they hold monthly for certain "holidays."

Additionally, this board is doing a "becarefu what you wish for" story idea theme, where each author builds on that premise to make their own version.
