That I would review his CD when I got it for all of you.
Yeah, Jesus (pronounced Yea!) is mildly disturbing. Slower paced than the first few cuts. Most of what I've heard is blues oriented. Good, I like the blues.
Sparky,
WHAT THE FUCK IS "INCREDIBLE FROG BOY?" You read it right. Frog boy. Ribbet.
"Her Dryer" and (Dance Like A) Pogo are my favorites by far so far, and I am only into cut #7. Two hits here. Most of Sparky's stuff is made up as he plays it. (His admission.)
Damn good improv. I wish comedians were this good. Hell, I wish I was too. He blends television clips into the songs, which make them a little surreal. I think I even heard Spock. Maybe not.
Sparky on "No Change" reminds me of Neal Young on Southern Man. Very twangy.
"John Denver (Dead) is, creepy. Fucked up creepy; good Rocky Horror Picture Show Creepy, along with "Ragtime Jap Piano, which is also very good and creepy. Would be great with a Stephen King novel.
"Riddle My Heart" sees Sparky going back to his roots, southern as they are. "Hail All Women" should be posted here. For the Lit girls.
Will be back with part two, gotta do some errands.
Look at me, I'm a fucking music critic...
