It got answered any way

My doctor sucks at being a doctor

So I been praying that one of the good doctors in town would have a patient or two die so that theywould have a couple of blank spots on thier patient load to be able to take a new patient {me}

This morning I got the call, DR. M had a hubby and wife pass away in the care home over the weekend, I go in to see him next monday 9am

Woohoo, this is the first step in getting my health turned around for the better.

If its of any consolation I knew the couple and if chrisitianity is right then they are off in a better place, they had been suffering for the last two years he was 97 she was 95, she died at 12 Saturday he died 5 hours later, from what my friend who works in the home said they both went out peacefully and the hubby had a peaceful look on his face almos like he was hanging on for his wife.

Am i eiv praying that someone died so that my health could be fixed?

Wait, wait. Let me get this straight. You felt it was okay to ask your God to take the life of someone? You believe that God answered your prayer...and you justify that it was okay that these two people died because they were suffering just so you could have an Appointment with that Doctor?

Yes Todd you are pure evil.....
you prayed for someone to die so you would benefit...
Satan answered your prayer.

I wouldn't say it was evil. It was definitely selfish. The reality is that most of our prayers are selfish. This one was probably more selfish than most, but you knew that already.

Ok, and now for people who know who Paul Harvey is, "This is the rest of the story"

I actually did not pray for anyone's death.

But over the last 12 months I have been praying for my health, as I watched 20 pounds ballon on my waist.

I kept praying for my health to get better, or for someone to become available and help me get better.

I simply prayed that I would get better. Some how some way get better.

Today when I got the calls and found out the the what and why, I was shocked cause every week I went in and visited with that couple 3 hours at a time or more sometimes, she was an excellent Cribbage player and he was an awesome War player and its was hard to take them both on at once, one in one bed one in the other.

I did not want them to die, i now have to go to thier funeral and grieve and say stuff.

So no I did not pray for thier death, I would not pray for thier or anyones death.

I simply prayed that somehow that my health could be looked at and helped, a year of praying.

So as Paul Harvey would say, "thats the rest of the story"

Phew! Todd!

I thought you were going off the deep end!

Todd, you're really fucking irritating. Were you aiming to get a reaction? Is that why you bullshitted your first post? Or is the second bullshit because you don't want people to hate you?

I wasn't realy trying to "get" anyone but after daughters thought provoking thread i did want to use this latest experience as a test of sorts.

And the conclusions raised in her thread did prove them self proven.

Right now I am in a wierd state of happienss and grief one moment I happy about seeing a doctor, one moment i am sad and crying at the lose of ssome of my friends
