I am not a musician.
Not even a songwriter.
But I played my "Telephone" song on stage last night.

I sucked, but everyone loved the song.

Then this dude comes up to me and says: "I REMEMBER YOU! YOU FIRED ME ONCE!"

And I had. I was the manager of a club (a lifetime ago) and his punk ass couldn't make it to work on time.

He told me, "You did me a favor- don't feel bad about it...."

:)

Sounds like a good night all the way around.

I'm always running into ex-students in bars and stuff, and they're always friendly, even if I flunked their ass. Usually, they just do that goofy, embarrassed shuffle, and then they say, "No, it's okay, I was a fuck-off, I deserved it."

There's a lesson there somewhere, I'm sure. Somebody fetch Dilly....

I got some good taping done.

Some good stills. I can't go out tonight though. Got to go to bed early- garage sale tomorrow.

I got a guy who wants to try Tommy. What a great summer project. I am broke as shit. It's great to be able to contribute to something. To make something happen. In a community.

Rock and Roll. Rock and Roll.

Something positive. Something real.

It might take a while, but I am gonna keep pushing.
