it is made of metal mostly, but also has pieces that are plastic as well as other things such as artificial rubber. when i go over i need to lift off the seat or my testicles are made to feel as though they'll be crushed and rendered useless by the force generated. it can be most uncomfortable.

I just found out the answer to this question. I also ride bicycles, as does the man whom started this thread apperently and I too was having the nut crush issue we are debating. One day yet another man whom had the same problem told me that the blker shorts other men are wearing are not for style reasons (thank god) and not to identify them as gay (which was my first idea) but rather these magical shorts have a built in mini pillow that conforms to a mans most tender of areas. MY nits have now been crushproofed...at least while on a bicycle.
