I never paid for it!

I never paid for it

Nope - and after the vote in the Italian parliament the other week, it looks like he's never going to have to pay for it either.

I have been watching this for a while.

If you are tuning in late, Berlusconi is said to have had parties in which men and women had sex (Gasp) and playing some sort of scandalous game called "Bunga Bunga". There are also other, more serious charges, such as abuse of his position as President, but it really seems to center around the sex scandal.

But the only thing in which I am really interested is finding the rules for Bunga Bunga.

Evidently, it's not quite a game so much as a costumed dance:

The latest to add its voice to the chorus of detractors is Italy's police union, which reacted to details contained in investigation documents discussing so-called "bunga bunga" sessions at Berlusconi's villa near Milan where women performed stripteases involving "skimpy nurses' outfits and police uniforms," the U.K. daily Guardian reports.

Apparently the police are a bit upset at the use of police uniforms by the teen strippers.

If he never paid for it (her), then he has to give it (her) back...to...let's see...

The Catholic magazine La Famiglia Cristiana says Berlusconi's dealings with women suggest "a disease, something uncontrollable." What are they talking about? Well, most recently Berlusconi is in hot water over his supposed dalliance with 17-year-old belly dancer Karima Keyek, aka Ruby Rubacuori, or Stealer of Hearts. Keyek says that although the Italian PM gave her about $10,000 and jewelry at a Valentine's Day dinner he hosted for ten lucky ladies, they never actually had sex. She explains, "It the first time in my life that a man has not tried to take me to bed. He behaved like a father, I swear.

One question remains, though — what the hell is "bunga-bunga?" A trip to Urban Dictionary is not helpful — the first definition just seems kind of racist, and the second one is, well, circular:

Erotic ritual which involves a powerful leader and several naked women.

Yep that sounds like Bunga-bunga to me. :D

Following up.

MILAN — Premier Silvio Berlusconi paid for sex with an under-age Moroccan teen 13 times at his villa near Milan, prosecutors said in a document filed Tuesday seeking indictments against three aides for allegedly soliciting prostitutes for the Italian leader.

Besides the Moroccan teen, Karima el-Mahroug, known by her nickname Ruby, the document identifies 32 other women whom the three aides involved in parties at Berlusconi's villa near Milan.

The prosecutors allege that aides have acted together in a criminal scheme to induce Ruby into prostitution.

The document says that Ruby "committed sexual acts with Silvio Berlusconi, for payment in cash and other compensation, at his residence" outside of Milan on 13 occasions from Feb. 14-May 2, 2010, the document says. Ruby, who has since turned 18, was 17 at the time.

So we'll never see "Ruby and the Bunga Bunga" written on Lit?

I'm confused. Which are they more upset about--that she was under age or that he paid for the sex?

So she's like 17 in this picture?

I think it's about time we all admitted that Britain's got the right idea and that the age of adulthood and consent really should be sixteen.

Burlisconi agrees no doubt.

As Reuters is reporting, Ruby was visiting the Austrian capital to attend Thursday night's Opera Ball on the arm of 78-year-old entrepreneur Richard Lugner, whose previous dates are said to have included Paris Hilton, Pamela Anderson and Carmen Electra. Austrian media have reported Lugner is paying Ruby 40,000 euros ($55,452) for her Opera Ball appearance.

Old, White, but Rich.

Damn. So much culture I missed out on just because I wasn't long-legged and strikingly gorgeous as a teen :( How much more educated I'd now be in fine arts and music if I had been--I'd have been able to tour Europe and pay for an education at one of those expensive colleges....

The local dance studio offers lessons in Tap, Ballet, Samba, Line, Interpretive, Ballroom and Clogging but no Bunga-Bunga. :(

Europe is so much more sophisticated.
