I Need To Friggin Vent...i Hate My Job!!!!!!!!

I just got home from my job......I took time off this past week
and now I go back to my boss being on vacation this week,
things not being done, certain staff being lazy........I hate my
friggin job motherfuckingcrazy it is ....I HATE IT I HATE IT I HATE IT!

I HAVE TO VENT....NOT USUALLY THIS ANGRY....BUT I HATE COMING
BACK FROM HAVING TIME OFF FROM WORK TO THE HELL I WALKED
INTO.......

Aww, sweetie, I'm sorry you're so upset. I can't say I've been in a similar situation yet, but I really hope you find a way to just relax and sort out your feelings about your job. Just take a few deep breaths, banish any thoughts of killing people from your mind (that's a biggie) and think of something that makes you happy that can get you through your anger. I really do hope you feel better.

I just hate where I work sometimes, because
for one, I leave notes in the communication book
for things to get done...and do they get done?
NOOOOOOOOOOO.......an example.....we need
latex gloves for where I work (i work at a group
home) and we are running low, and I left a note
a week ago saying that more should be picked up
at the agency office by the weekend....but they
were NEVER picked up!

Awww honey, its awful I know......been there done that. Try to console yourself with the fact that they obviously can't cope there without you. You do a good job in a difficult environment, give yourself a big pat on the back.

Well, I actually have an interview for a job that I am qualified for on Thursday- I have asked some people for references so I am hoping that I get them in the mail tomorrow or before I have to go Thursday.

Take sometime next tomorrow when you go to work and put a couple of your favorite things on your desk to remind you of the better things in life. just remember to do the best you can as mush as possible and CYA- And don't take other people's problems personally, you can't change them and you will just get mad and frustrated. You will have to develop a thicker skin or your co-workers will drive you nuts.

i'll try to keep your suggestion in mind......i think about
that, and sometimes i get more stressed......its this...
one day i will no longer be working there, can they
carry on without me? i worry about that a bit

and damn straight! i do a damn good job........but i also
am getting friggin sick of covering others' asses!

I don't do a desk job....but a very good suggestion
though *sniffle*

Unfortunately where I work regardless if I have a thick
skin, people still drive me nuts if certain things don't
get done.
