Very rarely do I get the opportunity that I have this weekend. My son is spending the weekend with his Dad and I have no responsibilities, no commitments and no pressure to come into work - well maybe for a couple hrs on Sat. What in the hell am I going to do with so much time on my hands?

Fixed a dinner consisting of the things I like to eat, but everyone else hates.

Watch a movie that only I like.

Went to the bookstore and actually took the time to read the synopsis of the book first.

Got a facial and manicure. (I never get my nails done, the polish gets wrecked five minutes in the door if the family's home).

Went bathingsuit shopping (no good this time of year) without my husband going, "Try the dental floss one on" or "Come out, I want to see it".

here I was going to suggest a nice hike around Cades Cove or perhaps up to The Chimneys (if you feel like a nice, medium-hard hike). Or perhaps, take a drive to Keller Bend Road. There are lots of trees to see the fall colors and my family (5-7 generations) has land and an old cemetery up there.
wish I could come in and join you! Then maybe a nice dinner at Copper Cellar (I have never found anyone who can beat their prime rib). and then...who knows.
