I need some help from the Listers.

I need to know how to find out where and through who a site is hosted in order to contact the ISP.

A music forum I belong to has spawned a pyschotic bitch who has repeatedly attacked me, is now committing libel against my children, and finally made yet ANOTHER mistake by posting a screen capture of a blog that was associated with my writing. That blog and all it's contents were copyrighted, and since the site owner has refused, point-blank, to remove this person's absolutely disgusting remarks and claims about my children, I can now use the copyright violation she is refusing to remove to have the site shut down.

If I can remember how to get that info. I know we've done it in the past with stolen story sites.

I usually use tracert to find the ISP and then whois for the contact information for who to call etc.

Visual trace route had a single click app that did that for a while but I dont have it any more

i used netcraft.com and then did a whois

Don't know if this helps, but I usually try any domain site and just type in the domain. It works here in the UK anyway.
