I see two alternatives here.
Alternative 1) Learn to type. Learn to capitalize sentences. Learn to use appropriate punctuation. Learn to write in complete sentences. Learn to follow rules. (That includes the preceding.)
If you can do those things, then CutieMouse's suggestion is perhaps appropriate *for you.* For *him,* he needs to grow a pair and determine for himself and/or in discussion/negotiation with you what type of discipline is appropriate for his babygirl. If he's more literate than you appear to be, I'll give him one free suggestion: When she fails to follow the rules, have her write an essay describing or explaining exactly how she failed to do so, and how she'll avoid doing so in the future. Make her write it in acceptable standard English.
Alternative 2) If you can't do the things listed in Alternative 1) above, then follow BiBunny's suggestion.

Not to be critical but I'm not understanding why he wants you to pick your own punishment unless he has given you a list. It doesn't seem to be much punishment if you get to decide that punishment yourself. It leaves the door open for you to choose something you like, which wouldn't really be a punishment now, would it?

Today is the second kind of day.
And that's ignoring the standard of the English here, which is a whole other can o' worms.
By the way, it struck me this morning that it's possible that written English is not getting worse. It's possible that people who 25 years ago would never have written anything other than semi-literate scrawls in Christmas cards and birthday cards are now, thanks to the internet and mobile phones, writing every day.
