As you can see below, I have included a link to my web page of pics. The problem is, it is not clickable. Can someone help me make it clickable, so that it links right to the web page?

I appreciate any help, and thanks for reading this. :)

Sorry, but I'm a bit confused. You already have a clickable link in your sig line for your poetry, right? Just copy that format, but use the address to your Pic page instead of your Poetry page.

Maybe I'm missing something??

Yes, you're right. it was created for me when I submitted my poetry here. Thank you, I'll try that. :)

That is not the complete URL, and it seems it is not, here is the address. I just need to get one from here to there, please? Thanks very much.:)

Copying the format from the existing link will work to make it clickable -- however....

Sorry. Access denied. You do not have access to this unlisted group.

We apologize for the inconvenience. Use your browser's back button to return to the previous page. Or If you have any questions, please contact Bellsouth Operations Support.

is what I get when I tried the link you posted.

I'm sorry, its still not working. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

I see you, bully!:)

Okay, this is what you want to do. In the example, I'm placing brackets ([ and ]) that should really be (< and >).

[a
href="http://www.literotica.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=87493"]Type whatever you want to appear in your sig line here[/a]

The part http://www.literotica.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=87493 is the actual address for your Pic thread, I think.

Good luck!

Edited to state: I've put the addy for your thread here at Lit. If you want the personal site up, it's not working when I use the link you are providing. The format, however, is the same.

OK, I need a moment to absorb this, and give it a try. I am not the most brilliant bulb in the box sometimes. :D Thank you so much for the instructions, and I am determined to get it right....

WH...which link did you try, the second one? I have it listed as not viewable in the bellsouth directory, but that shouldn't make it inaccessible. I'll check my settings again...and thank you.:)

Oh, I meant to say that no, I don't want to link to my thread because its like 113 pages long, and some poor soul could spend a week trying to get through the chit chat to get to the good stuff. :D

Also, you are saying to use <> instead of brackets, but when I look at the poetry url, it has brackets....I am so confused. If I am to use the < and the >, where am I putting them, and do I use the brackets anywhere at all?

Okay, the address is good, so this is what you do. Remember to replace the [ with a <

Way cool!:D

Give me a sec, and we'll see....thank you so much!:)

Well, I copied and pasted what you typed, placed it in my siggie box, replaced the [ with a < and you see how it looks...any thoughts?

You are so close!

Add <a before the href (That is < AND an a)

Then after "A few of my pics" add </a>

That should do it.

Well, its starting to look good, but its still not clickable. I just don't know....I will keep trying, but I'm also cooking dinner. I will not give up, I have come too close. :)

I surely do appreciate your help. :)

Hmmmm.....okay, when you get a chance copy and paste the entire thing here in a message. Only, remember to change one thing so it is visible to us. (Like change one of the < to a * or something) That way we can look at it and see what is up. It looks like it might be one small thing that is missing.

(Did you put quotation marks around the address? That might be it. Also, no spaces - every just runs together.)

OK..here you go. I did not put the quotation marks there, but I did go back and remove them, and it made no difference. If we get it clickable and it doen't open, I will replace them. The character I am changing for the sake of posting, as you requested, is the >right before My Pics. I had one there, but will remove it now, OK?

<ahref=http://home.bellsouth.net/p/s/community.dllep=16&groupid=49137&ck=&userid=1&userpw=.&uh=1,0,My Pics</a>

<a href="http://home.bellsouth.net/p/s/community.dllep=16&groupid=49137&ck=&userid=1&userpw=.&uh=1,0,">My Pics</a>

Cut and paste everything in bold back to your signature line and it should work.

Yes!!!!! :D My goodness, it was like pulling teeth, but finally it works!:D Thank you so much, both of you, and please know I would love to do something nice for you. This means alot to me, and I really appreciate it. ;) :rose: :rose:

Not quite. Maybe it's just my computer? I'm getting a server error message, but it might just be where I am at. (work) If you are able to click on the link and it works, disregard this message!

Re: Just in case

I'm getting the same page not found error SC is.

Try this one, it's taken from the link you posted earlier that works to get me to your pictures:
